Oh shoot.
I've been getting sick.
I had to call in to work because I didn't feel well or want to infect others.
There is also a con in my future.
ARE WE THE SAME PERSON?
...from different timelines maybe?!?
Anyway, I second the plenty of rest thing. My hubby was sick for a week before me, and one day he took a few long extra naps and woke up feeling a lot more coherent. Also make sure to monitor and control any fever you might have. I always get too sick to realize I have a fever unless I take my temp on a schedule and that can get real dangerous real quick.
Also, aloe juice is cheat codes for sore throats, and it tastes sooo dang good.

Well, sheet, maybe I'll just make a sticker posting thread later so we can share them without ever ruining their innocence.

I like the frame 'em poster style idea... I just wish I could attach them to something I carry around a lot. Maybe I just want my stickers to be patches

I must have done the same thing because I recently found my old sticker album and man its just ROWS and ROWS of the same exact stickers XD But, man... they were all velveteen and holograph stickers. I had to save those.

...and I NEVER stick them to anything! Ugh, I want to proudly display them on my objects, but everything I could think to slap 'em on are things with an expiration date. I have my best sticker stuck to an obsolete laptop I never use and it breaks my heart. Should I just be a child since I own my own home and decorate all my doors? Should I use them to make jewelry?? What do you stick your stickers to, folks?

@Count Trashula: Indeed! Get an altoids tin and fill it with your celebration tools. It can be something for only you to enjoy (themed pictures, snacks, favorite knickknacks...) or it can be things to share (on the fly makeup kit, blood capsules, confetti, treats...)
Boom.
Halloween in ya pocket.

It was on the PC. It was not Arcanum.... though Arcanum is one of my favorite games, and you've got the time it came out about right...

My memory is awful. I can remember oddly specific details but never names or tangible search terms. (Sometimes I remember things that never happened, but thats another story....)
I played this CRPG (isometric, doomy gothique af) a long time ago, and I remember it being too difficult for me to get much of anywhere BUT that could be because I was just no good at games in my teens... It had 3 playable characters to choose from, and one was DEFINITELY an old lady, I *think* one was a child, and the other was probably some regular gothy dude. It starts you out in a very boxy stone building (magic school?) where you do one or two lame fetch quests (to graduate magic class??) before they throw you mercilessly to the wolves (literal ones??? Something beastly absolutely murdered me a lot.)
The thing that stuck with me most (besides getting to play as an awesome old lady) was that the skills you used and even alignment-based choices you made subtly changed your characters appearance. I think I was rocking a poison-oozing granny with a lizard tail at one point. But I was too bad at games to even see where they went with this concept and its eating at my soul!
Halp?

I started collecting comics and I don't know how to stop. Its like I got a few and now I'm constantly wanting more. I also work in a comic shop so... I'm in dangerous territory. I also have more games and horror movies than is healthy.

@Tuijp: 1: Park new dog in front of back door.
2: Train dog to protect said door from your neighbor specifically.
(more bark than bite because dogs are too pure to corrupt in such a fashion...)
3: ???
4: Profit!!!
