@moodyb: aw cats are such angels. i’ve never had a dog but i’m sure they’re great pets too. but cats….. man…
they really know what you’re feeling. they make great emotional support animals. plus they’re (relatively) easy to take care of. one of the main reasons i’ve been putting off getting a cat even though i really want one is i didn’t feel capable of the work that needs to be put in. i could barely take care of myself for a little while lol

pretty sure it takes a while to make too. i’ll just stick to letting them make it for me. they have the best prices in town. yet, it’s not overrun with tourists since it’s hidden in the back of the market. such a score for our lil neighborhood.

mm love carnitas. never made it from scratch before, i don’t have that kinda faith in myself lol. the market also has a little bakery/taqueria/ice cream shop attached. best tacos.

@totalanimefan: do you have rice? i guess you could just do veggies but it’s probably not very filling
they have great produce and a selection of marinated meats that i like to get. huge selection of tortillas too. i’ll often grab paper towels or juice or whatever else i may need randomly when i don’t want to go to the store. and then always a little treat lol. like a drink or a candy. for the walk back ^^

that’s nice that you can walk to the market though. there’s a mexican market in walking distance from my apartment and it’s literally a godsend.
