I like the wooosh of the left one more, but I wasn't sure if it was apparent that the woosh was body. XD
I would like the right one better if there was an open book on the ground so it looked like he was coming out of the magic book. OuO
I might have to wait to get the perfect woosh/body item.

Usually there is trick or treating at the zoo on Halloween; but they didn’t want crowds forming this year. It’s so fun to see the animals, but also fun to see people dressed up for Halloween!

@xvz: I think crochet is great because once you learn to do something, like a sphere, it’s always the same. So after you get enough experience you can start to make your own patterns.

Thanks everyone. I think this was the first time I ever dressed up in something that matched someone else. I’ve never done a pair or group costume before. It was fun!


HOWL’S MOVING CASTLE is one of my all time favorite movies. It’s based on a book with the same title, which is also really wonderful. Howl’s moving castle is my favorite of the movies by studio Ghibli, but every thing they do is great.

Went to the zoo with my mom and sister today!
My sister was the Cheshire Cat and I was Alice. >:3

I like sturdier yarn that’s less soft for things like home decor, like the pumpkins I made. I guess I imagine I’ll keep it forever and fluffy yarn won’t last as long. But I don’t know if that’s fact or just in my head. XD

It’s 2 spheres that I didn’t close all the way and then “sewed” together with the yarn. The neck was a little funny looking, so I added a scarf. And the eyes are safety eyes, which are usually in the doll section in craft stores. They have a front and back that snap together. There’s usually some small animal noses too. :3
