Oh dear, it looks like I missed a lot.
You all have been so busy.

Gaia had years and years of not making money. Maybe in 10 years Voltra will be able to make some money.
Solia's creator just wasn't willing to sacrifice the time it would take to build up to that. And there was no guarantee it ever would.

I don't think it was ever in their minds that this was about making money, even a little bit.
They've always been very focused on putting the money they make back into the site and giving it to the people who work for them instead of themselves.
You really have to be selfless to start a project like this. A lot of these sites don't make money

I had a lot of time to talk with them on Discord before the site was up.
They're both good people and really dedicated to this site. I think that's a big reason for it's success so far.

I had faith in Fozzy and Qteapon. I was prepared to follow them somewhere else if it came to that.

That was a dark time, but kind of fun to look back on now!
Voltra got through a lot.

I was lucky enough to join the Voltra discord before the site was up so I was part of some of the early discussions.
It's so wonderful to watch something grow from the beginning.

I found an alice in wonderland figure that was clearance for like $10 and later found out its a famous figure artist and worth a lot
