I think a lot of people start on Gaia but reach out to other avatar sites over time.
In general I think the smaller sites have more friendly communities, but they are also slower on the forums.
It’s a trade off. I personally love Voltra and I hope you like it too!

@vengeance: On here there is a specific color the use for each tone, you know.
Like the artists picked a "black" and it's the same every time.
But on Gaia they never did that, so every item is a new color the artist just makes up.
So there are 400 shades of pink and none match. And it's horrible.
