@Bioshock: yuuuuupp; esp cause when I was younger my mom ran an in-home daycare and I helped out, plus I was a girl scout for 13 years, so they all expect me to be okay with it

like yes, for a couple hours once or twice a week, or when I was 5-10 years old, I enjoy watching other people's children
because I like kids
but I do not want to take care of your children for you while you are standing right there and ignoring them and me, or when you leave without telling me when you'll be back. just because you don't place any value in the things I do with my free time doesn't mean it's not important to me and that I have "nothing better to do" than watch your kids

even my girlfriend's kids get a little much after a while and those are children I have chosen to accept into my life as part of my family. Like those are my kids too. But as much as I love them, which is more than anything in the world, I just don't have the mental energy to be around them more than a day or 3 in a row. And she gets that. She knows I love them but I'm just not a Mom kind of person and don't have the capability to deal with it ha

I admire moms and dads so so so much for what they do for their kids I just don't like when they expect me to be able to do the same thing when I've told them I'm not

@Bioshock: Y E A H like I have a dog. that's all I want. maybe a cat or snake or fish, or some other form of non-screaming animal. at this current point in my life, and for all of my life leading up to it, I have never wanted me own children. please stop making me take care of yours without asking me first

@Luneza: yee it's nice; my dad is actually about 1500 miles away, but, in his words, if you drive straight though that's only 28 hours ha
my grandma is about 70 miles away and my grandpa is about 400, though, and I live with my mom and brother :> my sister is also fairly close and visits every other week or so xD we (my mom, her, and I) went to 2 concerts together last weekend haha

@Bioshock: yessssss I love the water park lol plus my sister/her broad of children won't be with us this time! Like I love them, I do. Just not at a waterpark for h o u r s while my sister assumes I'll be a baby sitter
I want to relax at the water park not help watch 4 children I didn't have any part in creating and never signed up for XD

@Luneza: dinner was good! my dad apparently forgot that my brother and I are mostly-agnostic science-y people who also are socialists

so we were arguing a bit about it haha but not in the same way we argue with my grandma about stuff; my grandma gets actually mean lmao my dad and us just joke around a bit
