yeah, luckily I found a dog at 1am from the pound that was already mostly trained, and there's a trainer near me that does super cheap 6 week classes ($55 for 6 weeks with only 1 other dog (and 2 dogs that were in and out) instead of the like 100-something that petco/petsmart wants to charge for a 2 week class that's over booked)

plus Annie is an anxiety response and blocking dog, and the trainer agreed that with psychiatric service dogs, it's better for the handler to do the bulk of the training instead of someone else so that there's a bond and the dog wants to do the work for you specifically because it loves you from the start :'>

tbh a lot of finding the right pet is ignoring half of what they "should" do because of their breed/species and just finding one that jells with you

once my fiance and I get our own place I will have MANY cats >:D all the cats.... my mom won't let me have any lol
also sneks. love those danger noodles

90% of the cat pictures on my phone are of @frossy: 's cat Cloud bc Cloud is my sweet child whom I love very much and will probably never get to see in person

my rott/lab (the big one) is my service pup and even though she's supposed to be a super active dog bc of her breeds, she prefers to lay around and sleep most of the time XD which is great for me, a person who spends 90% of their time out of the house inside a starbucks or classes lmao

Nery (the baby) is a 5mo Border Collie (most likely pure or mixed with lab) and Annie is my Big Girl and is a 5yo rottweiler/lab mix <3
