That's very cool! Good job! I've heard a lot get bogged down in drama and stuff so I'm glad this one eventually worked out!

@Tsundererra:

I can't speak much for display tablets, but I can suggest another option in an iPad and apple pencil. This is the closest to drawing to paper I've had. As for programs, the iPad also has Procreate, which is inexpensive and has lots of great brushes to work with.

If you still want to go the PC route, I recommend Clip Studio. It's not terribly expensive and it goes on sale often. It's been pretty intuitive for me and has pretty much replaced Photoshop for most things.

Posted in I caught the school microwave on fire Posted 5 years ago

Oh man, it's unfortunate it had to happen in front of so many people. Don't feel bad though, I once ignited a cup noodle in the microwave at work. XD

I used to play, but I found it frustrating to balance energy levels to keep playing. I need games that work on my schedule not the other way around ><;;;

That being said it was a fun game and I did enjoy it when I could. Kotori best girl.
Posted in Your worst fears. Posted 5 years ago

I'm afraid of corpses. Any kind, people, animal, whatever. On that note, the concept of ghosts and zombies scares me even though I don't necessarily believe in them. Vampires are ok though.

I get pretty unnerved by deep water that I can't see the bottom of. Also pretty afraid of drowning. It's one of my top ways I DO NOT want to die.

Also afraid of being alone, but that's a deep and complicated fear that's difficult to explain precisely.

It never ever hurts to get a 2nd opinion. Sometimes even a 3rd or 4th. Medicine is a very difficult practice and experience can mean a lot. And that doesn't mean the amount of experience either. That just means different doctors have experiences based on different events that they've encountered which guides them going forward. I had one doctor write off gall stones as acid reflux but a 2nd doctor knew immediately what was going on and sent me for the proper tests. That doesn't mean the 1st doctor was a bad doctor necessarily, it just means he wasn't familiar with the different signs to look out for in my particular case.

Anyway I hope you get someone that can help you and that things improve for you soon. Remember to breathe.

Your style is super fun! I love the hatching. It really gives it a different feel you know? Like it's texturally appealing in addition to being cute as heck.

Congrats Tsun and Pachi!! Great entries from everyone! Always looking forward to next week.
Posted in Why being "So ADHD" isn't a joke Posted 5 years ago

@faerie: That's very understandable. Different meds work differently on different people and it's sometimes very hard to find a regimen that works best. I will say that I also take an antidepressant along with my ADHD medication, but I also don't have a lot of side effects (except for the SWEATING from prozac which I am thankfully no longer on lol). If what you have now is working for you then keep it up.

@Scribartz: That's good then! I did try for a while to use the stimulants but I never could get over the jitters, plus it wore off mid day and I was just a mess.
