I was going to suggest an assisted living facility as well, though it would have to be one that is used to dealing with disorders like this and I imagine that's pretty expensive. It's a difficult situation though, to be sure. Like, that's your mom's mom you know? You love them and want to help them even though you really don't have the means to. Maybe there's some other way to help without putting yourselves at risk.

Nice! I often work in black and white before adding color so I can get a feel on the values. Then I just use a color replacer when I want to add the colors in.

I use Aseprite for all my animations too. It's my favorite program for animating pixels.

Big mood. I've been eating like one meal a day due to laziness.

Oh I already have Rune Factory 4 - Special Edition pre-ordered lol. Even though I already own it for 3DS.

I mean, with any artwork, sometimes color correction is helpful. It's not uncommon for me to tweak values on digital paintings either.

I will say though that learning the basics of lighting and color help a lot.

It's a resource gathering/building game with like... relationships and dungeon diving. It's a lot of things. Think Harvest Moon but more robust, less farming, more crafting.

Yeah kiwi is playing it too. We're both addicted.

The thing I love about pixel art is that it's such a small scale that it doesn't take long to render things out. That also becomes the challenge though because you don't have much room for detail so you gotta make every single pixel count. Still, it makes it easier to try different things when you aren't really sure what you're doing.

I got My Time at Portia in the Steam sale since it was only like $15 and it's sucked me in big time.

I stay awake through the sheer power of will. Sometimes I miss my alarm though. Thankfully work is not busy now, we've passed through the storm finally.
