That's fair. And yeah, as long as you have some you CAN eat you're fine. I don't like artichokes or brussel sprouts either, but I do like lima beans and cabbage. =3

Ah I see. Yeah the slime is a real obstacle. XD If you're not used to it already it's gonna be hard to get over. Sometimes it's not as bad in soups either because it just combines with the other water in the broth so it doesn't seem quite as slimy. It's still a little slimy though.

Boiled or fried? Sometimes fried is easier for people to eat because it's not as slimy. Can't do anything about it if you just don't like the taste though.

I can almost always taste it when someone puts it in. =( Even in soups, though occasionally it's boiled so much it's really mild and I can ... deal with it. I can't stand when people mince it and mix it in stuff because then I can't pick it out.
