@Shark: Definitely not an artist. I couldn't even draw a good looking stick figure.
Not really a writer either. Maybe you could say I've dabbled.
There was a time when I wrote a little bit of poetry.
My character writing is always pretty vague though. Not stories, but just outlines. 'This is what they're kinda like, this is how they kinda act.' Maybe throw in some small scenarios I think up, but never fleshed out.

@Totalanimefan: I listen to all kinds of stuff. Rock, metal, punk, ska, rap, drift phonk, eurobeat, industrial, pop, EDM, some country.
I'm just not the type to be listening to music super often, and I get spurts of interest into just some certain genres, bands, or songs.
I could literally listen to just a couple songs on repeat when I'm into just those few at the moment.
My fave band, I'd have to say is Incubus. Not because I listen to them all the time or anything. I actually haven't listened to their stuff in a while.
But when I was a teen, someone gave me a mixed CD with a lot of Incubus, and I listened to that a lot on my stereo.
I really like 'A Certain Shade of Green (Acoustic)' and 'Pardon Me' by Incubus.

@Totalanimefan: Yeah. All about similar to Streetlight Manifesto I think. They don't really lean into the punk/skater vibe as much as some other ska.

@Shark:
Yeaah! Mine are usually just outfits for me, but sometimes I create some bangers that I makeup stories in my head about. A bit of a rare occurrence, but feels good.
This is Mickey and Aiden.
Mickey became kind of a jerk as he grew up because of being named after a cartoon mouse and all. Aiden is his boyfriend and a little firecracker that maybe shouldn't put up with Mickey's attitude and teasing, but keeps coming back around when they makeup after a fight. Bit of a dysfunctional pair.
@Totalanimefan:
Aww shucks, you 'member me? I'm mostly a lurker, but I guess I did run that hangout thread for Hazer.

@Shark: I'm alright. Recently saw Tom Cardy's video for Red Flags and was just like "damn, the artist for this has these OCs that basically got big from doing a little fan animation for Tom Cardy. Now they're like, not just some little character from the games they play, they're like their own thing now."
So I suddenly felt like trying to make some sorta-kinda OC type avatars these days.
@Bonnie: Thanks. It's been so long, I probably don't remember the folks that were around back then either though. Mind like a sieve, I tell ya.
'Cept Zuzu because I got them on Discord.
@Zuzu: You know about any items that can get me a background couch/bed/pillow pile?

For some reason, in the US, it's can also be frowned upon just between coworkers to discuss wages.
I guess because some people feel like it should be private and personal info?
Which leads to employers being able to lowball their employees, because people only know what they personally make.

After leaving The Broken Anvil Rosemary and Astrinos begin to head back up from the lower wards of Sharn on a search for supplies in Upper Dura, avoiding the site of the earlier attempted ambush by the local thugs.
-
Taking another couple hours to ascend back up after their meeting, it's become about mid-day and you can hear the city clocks striking noon as you reach the Upper Ward of Dura.
- -
Crowded and bustling. This is not a wealthy ward, but the people are surviving, and some are clearly doing quite well for themselves. While there are a few upscale businesses, the merchants are clearly used to dealing with adventurers and others of questionable character.
- - -
There are still bums and beggars about in this upper area of Sharn, but they seem to have more life to them than the pitiable of the lower wards. Wretches upon the street corners flaunt their maladies and misfortune for passersby to gawk, hoping to garner pity and coin with their pan-handling.
- - - -
[Would you two like to just take a look around for shopping opportunities in general, or are you just searching specifically for an alchemist's shop?
Also, If you two wish so in the future, you can pay for transports to move about the city faster. Just FYI.]

This is something I've thought about several times before.
"What if I could go back, with the knowledge I have now, and fix my past mistakes?"
The conclusion I always come to is- "I would not want to tamper with my past."
If I did things right, my life would turn out more ideal.
I would have taken care of my body.
I would have studied properly and done well in school.
I wouldn't have wasted time and money on games that I didn't really enjoy playing.
Sure, at the end of that new path, my life would be more ideal,
but I wouldn't be where I am now.
I wouldn't know the people I know now.
I wouldn't be with the woman I'm with, in the place I am now.
And that's scary to me. I don't want to be without them.

"You could find it almost anywhere in the city, but a good place for you to look would be in the Clifftop district in Upper Dura. It's full of mercenary types such as yourself and the businesses cater to that, so I'd suggest you ask around up there."

"Once you have it, return here to The Broken Anvil. My men will notify me when you arrive, and I'll be here to pick it up, as well as presenting the rest of your reward. Simple as that."
She thinks for a few moments over your last two questions.
"It's quite possible there are some sort of defenses for the old Cannith forge, though I do not know what they might be...
More pertinent is the fact that Bonal was killed in an attempt to get his research. This proves there is someone else after the contents of my family's lost forge. Given that the assassin was a Warforged, I have suspicions that it could be the rumored 'Lord of Blades' so you may encounter more of his warforged agents.
Other than that, Bonal had mentioned needing things like alchemist fire and torches for making the trip. Torches, or some other light source would be a given since it will be quite dark without the Everbright Lanterns we are used to up here. I couldn't say why he might need alchemist's fire though.
But whatever arises, I'm sure you can handle it. That's why I'm making you this offer."
[Astrinos tries to gauge her responses, looking for any possible deceit. Everything she says seems truthful as far as he can tell.]
