Cuz we were running low on stuff to eat and I was to the point of like "fuck it, I'll see how it goes." And it surprisingly wasn't bad.
Whenever we're down to just the less convenient food options or just weird combinations of ingredients, I'll try to experiment with my unconventional cooking technique of "throw shit together and see how it turns out."
I got a can of cream corn I'm planning to try mixing with some minute rice sometime to see how that goes.

When I was young, I refused to eat raw tomato or cucumbers.
Now I'm eating rice with diced tomato as a lunch, while drinking cucumber water and eating them out of the bottle as I drink it.

I don't know why, but I guess I grew out of my pickiness?
Or maybe I grew *into* an appreciation for the taste of healthier produce.

@Zuggy: Did you need to take your dog to the vet? Dog owners are financially responsible for damages their dog causes.
Ask them to pay the bill. If they refuse, contact someone in animal law, and you could take the neighbor to small claims court.
Hitting them in their wallet should make them pay attention, and not let their mutt run amok.
Just get some picture evidence of your dog's injuries, vet statements, and get your facts straight on the event. Time, date, where it happened, what the owner was doing, how they reacted to the fight, etc.

Either way, it's an aggressive dog. Animal control can probably do *something* about it.
If it's done this in the past, you really should have called them back then too.
Since this is a third offense for it, they might have had it put down, but idk if this would be the first time calling them about it.
