Cuz she seems to like Vreg and maybe wanted to give him something fun to do.
And also giving Vreg a task to get Virgil involved.

This thread has been a delight.
It's too bad that not many users got to participate due to timing.
Perhaps in the future, similar things could be done with longer time frames, and better documentation of actions(separate from normal posting), so people can back-read the adventure.
