@Kirrai: Well hmm have you ever had any experience with escape rooms? Sometimes to get out of situations there is lots of discussion between the players on the next course of action. And of course combat is turn based to keep things orderly so you have to wait till all your teammates get their turn and then wait for your enemies to have their turn every round. But yeah I think you should watch Critical Role on youtube to see how a D&D session generally goes.
I have been to Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Hong Kong and Melbourne. We mostly went around visiting family. My dad has 9 brothers and sisters haha. And yeah London is on my travel list too. Haven't been there yet.

@Kirrai: One D&D session generally lasts minimum of 4 hours and can go all the way to 8 hours sometimes. You could stop and start anytime but the DM needs time to prepare the encounters and stories, you gotta give them time to get things together, they are abit different than just asking a computer to start a game haha, not to mention everyone is not always free at the same time. The more players the harder it is to schedule but 4-5 players and a DM I find is my preferred sweetspot. If you have a good group of friends and want to play more than once a week you could probably take turns being the DM. Some people join a couple of different groups too as an alternative.
I came to Europe to get married to my husband who is Croatian Been here almost 6 years now. I can't wait to explore all the countries around here. They are all so beautiful. Australia is beautiful too but it is abit far for me to explore currently.

@Kirrai: Welcome to Voltra! I play D&D too every weekend. Its not so much the patience as discipline that you need to keep a schedule and stick to it. The most common campaign killer is RL responsibilities. Usually 1 or 2 people stop playing because they don't have time anymore and the campaign falls apart because it simply can't go on when such a big part of the story is dependent on them.
My dad is Australian. I have a sister and a whole bunch of family in Melbourne but I live in Europe currently. Nice to meet you!
