we've been trying to get him to deal with it for over a year. pestering him every month. >.> he's a great guy. a terrible landlord.

Nadiya waved goodbye to her family after they helped her lift her trunk on to the Hogwarts Express. They had been excited when she got the letter, but the summer had slowly turned into yelled arguments when she showed no ambition to be in Slytherin like the rest of the family had been. Turning her back on them as she climbed on to the train felt like a weight lifting off her shoulders. Her brother was the only who who had shown any sadness about her leaving even though they had already been drifting apart as they got older, and than even more so when she got her letter to accept her into Hogwarts.

She tugged on her trunk to try to drag it down the corridor to find an empty compartment, but the thing was so much heavier without a trolley and it always felt like she had no arm strength. Setting Brambleclaw's carrier on top of her trunk she got behind it and pushed using the strength in her legs. Even than the blasted thing was super heavy, she decided that she would take the first empty compartment she found no matter what, and hopefully it would be soon. Reaching the first door she brushed her long red hair up and out of her face letting it trail down her back. Her green eyes peered into the compartment hopefully.

He nodded accepting her words, but he still planned on coming up with something for her later. "So do they know about me yet? About us being really good friends?" His parents hadn't been inclined to send owls lately, since the statute of secrecy had been lifted they'd been afraid that their family home would be revealed if they sent to many owls out since the muggles now knew that owls carried letters for witches and wizards. It was almost like they had sunk further into secrecy now that they didn't need to.

Her voice drew him back out of his dark thoughts about his family and their stupid rules and he looked down at the sleeping kitten with a smile on his face. "Yeah I think she has." He looked sidelong at Birch who still had her head under her wing. " I don't think birch is to fond of her though. He mused. Clearing his throat he looked up at her to change the subject back to her again. He always felt awkward talking about himself and his family problems. Though the pets were a nice distraction, it would be a brief one with them both sleeping. "Did you finish all the summer assignments we were assigned? He'd noticed his in his bag when he put the quill away and was curious, though he figures she'd finished them all to some amount of perfection, but she had been traveling so maybe she hadn't had as much time as she would normally put into them.

umm no. ^^;; I was gonna check egg groups today and see what I want. I think I'm going to go with a grass type.
