Does anyone have any tips or tricks to get yourself back into writing? I was thinking that one way might be to have others to talk to about writing so I decided to make this thread.

I've been struggling with lots of things lately, but I know that writing makes me happy and I was hoping that others might join me. :)

List of Tips and Tricks:

• Take a time in the day when you have five minutes and do nothing but write. Whatever comes to mind. A dream diary, a journal of your day. A story idea. Wrote for that five minutes weather you get 5 words or 500, as long as you took that time devoted to writing.
  
• Design a playlist of music that is calming to you to write to and helps you focus in.
  
• Kale:
  When you do your daily writing, don't look back on what you've written before. Especially if this is a first draft, your only job is to get words onto paper. You can review it later.
  
  
• Holyghost:
  i will write a scene i have in my head that is separate from the story itself or a part i'm not quite at yet. It gives me a feel of my characters and gets me back into writing them. Sometimes drawing my characters in scenes that i've written or scenes to be written is beneficial too!

Nah. Just a really active baby that's kicking my bum this pregnancy. And I've had a fever.

I wish I didn't have "bedrest doctors orders" I'm grumpy being in bed so much. I'm even playing through kingdom hearts from start to finish ... Well of the games I own anyways.

I really hope so.

His coworker (boss?) is also a nutritionist and has his own gym. He said that he heard about my food and weight issues from my husband and got EXCITED. He wants to give me a menu and exercise lessons for free, just because I'm married to my husband and my specific food issues are his favorite to help with.

Oh well grats on the new job! And have a fantastic night at work . ^^ Hubby is still working over nights as well, and this job FINALLY looks like its going to stick. ^^

Yup. xD So been sort of making a list of what we're planning to get again. and cross our fingers for a house by June :/

Nope not yet. They usually check gender about 20 weeks here. I'm sitting at almost 12. *impatiently waits for two more months* We went out shopping today and I looked at baby stuff. xD I JUST threw out/donated/gave away all our old baby stuff because I'd finally given up that we were going to get pregnant and all my friends started having kids. So now Hubby's mom is planning a baby shower when we get the gender.

Want to see the baby? :D I mean it's still a bean, but I've had the first ultrasound. :3

He looked over at her and almost choked on his words, "Yes, it is beautiful in here." Internally he was arguing with himself and trying to give himself a pep talk. 'Come on Jason, pull it together. She's your friend, and holding her hand shouldn't change how you act around her. ' He was completely giddy that he had actually asked her to the ball, and that she had said yes. He still couldn't quite believe that it had happened. "The enchanted frost they put on the autumn leaves is a nice touch."

It wasn't really what was keeping his attention though, she was, and so were his panicked thoughts. He knew that he had to be braver about being himself. And part of that was admitting that he liked Julia more than just as a friend. Why had it taken him so long to realize that? "I didn't realize that this Thanksgiving thing could have decorations as grand as the Christmas decorations." At least his mouth and brain hadn't completely shut off.

I'm hoping so. :] I've been making a lot of changes to try to be more positive. :]
