@Wildfire: Thank you. I feel kinda weird about this particular story because I finished it in like two sittings so I don't really feel like I've spent as much time just living in the world of it, ya know? Like, I'm proud of the story etc and I think it's fleshed out enough, but I feel like I'm missing something with it. Maybe I need to reread it a few times?

@Wildfire: there is no prompt for tonight, I have to go over some edits suggested on one of my stories by an editor. But it's not due until Christmas but tbh I know if I don't do it now I will forget about it....

@Wildfire: I'm doing good thanks. I ate pancakes for dinner so I'm currently stuffed lol but I'm about to go turn on my laptop and start writing. How are you?

@Wildfire: I meant to put a "yay" or something lol but I pressed submit too soon. I am not disappointed lmao.

@Wildfire: oh cool, that sounds yummy. Ngl a lot of your food sounds yummy!

@Wildfire: good luck! What are you cooking tonight?

@Wildfire: yep! It's like magic. They have a soundscape for pretty much anything, I often have them playing in the background while I'm writing. They are good for relaxing etc. When I was going through mental health problems last, I listened to their rain soundscapes 24/7 and it really helped.

@Wildfire: no worries, I love that site. They have a soundscape for everything. You can also find them on spotify if you'd prefer. I'm currently listening to their Winter Walk soundscape because my story is set in the Arctic Circle. They are so calming and great for setting the mood!

@Wildfire: omg that sounds pretty eclectic! I'm not sure I would be able to stomach that for very long lmao. I listen to a lot of instrumental music, modern classical etc.

@Wildfire: You're welcome :) lol what type of music is that? Pop?

@Wildfire: also play this or this in the background to immerse yourself in homey vibes.

Hmm... there weren't many comforts in the medieval times... mostly it was food, if they were lucky enough to get it. Maybe try researching some medieval recipes? A fire in the great hall, a blanket made several generations ago, new boots, snuggling with the animals, fur and leather, etc? Does any of that help?

What kind of theme is it, if you don't mind me asking? Maybe talking about it will get the inspiration flowing?
