I live in a small neighbourhood (44 houses) between 2 small towns (one of them is tiny actually). I knowthe people here and they know me. I like it.

@Curry: I personally don’t use much seasoning, but my brother hardly using it at all.
I make a bunch of things from scratch, so I know what is in it. We’re in the top 5 of the countries with the most strict food laws, but I still want to be extra sure.

@Curry: it’s usually 50 gram for me when I fry things. Rosemary and thyme fried in it is good, but so is unions and fresh mushrooms cut into small pieces.

My grandmother was born shortly after World Wat 1 and she drilled it in me that, when you fry things, you use real butter.
Okay, I do use less salt than she did, but her soup was always so salty that the dead sea became jealous of the salt levels.

@Curry: I had liver problems before and then frying things in oil isn’t too good.
In this part of Europe, it’s very common to first add butter on a sandwich and then everything else you want on it.

@Curry: I usually fry things in butter. There are several different kinds, from just lactose free to completely vegan.
For on a sandwich, I have the lactose free version and for frying things I have the vegan butter. It’s even half as cheap as the regular.

@Curry: we have a ton of lactose free things in the supermarket. My brother is also lactose intolerant, so I’ve bought a bunch of things before. It seriously gies from milk to butter and everything in between.
