I would feel terrible taking off any length since you've grown it oodles and oodles, but I would definitely be able to take the ends off without doing much to the length!

@Another Movie Addict: Definitely, DEFINITELY needs to be stuff around you in the middle of the blackout. Like, umm, what kind of flashlight do you have? Or ... did you make sure to get a lantern and some matches for another light source? Stuff like that!
