Despite an unfortunate bit of delay, Day 3's list has been updated! We have two entrants and while significantly less than the previous days, I must say we have quite the number of winners in total...

I do so hope you all enjoy what you get once they have been distributed to you at the end of the event!

@Xaria: The mayor is currently occupied with the festivities, but fret not: you will most definitely hear from him once the event is over.
Posted in Strings Game Posted 5 years ago

The list has once again been updated! I chose to add 3 more hours before updating as there has been quite the lull in activity. Again, thank you to all participants! Do note this game will not be ending anytime soon, and more entrants are always welcome!

Also, thank you very much @Millet for clarifying that point. While I do appreciate the enthusiasm from those who entered more than once, the opportunity to grasp the string of one's destiny is far too much of a rarity. Perhaps somewhere down the line, the chance to do so again might present itself?

Who can say?

Good morning everyone! Deepest apologies for my slight tardiness! I have updated the list of winners with the participants' names and the prizes they will be recieving after the end of the event. I would like to extend my thanks towards today's participants, and I once again wish good fortune upon those who decide to join in!

@star2000shadow: Very much appreciated! Here is to hoping your string leads to something fabulous!

And I see our list of names has grown very large indeed! Thank you to everyone who has thrown their lot into this little game of mine so far! I can only hope that more people come and participate. After all, one's string always leads to something, be it big or small. :von-celebrate:

This thread will close July 31st 11:59pm Voltra Time
HOW TO PLAY

To summarize: generate a random number within the range of 1-50 using the “Random Number Generator” post action. You will then receive a prize in accordance to the generated number.

Do note that, as mentioned in the intro, each account is allowed ONE attempt at the game. Again, you may only do this ONCE.

As an aside, it would be greatly appreciated if we avoid making lengthy conversation in this thread so that focus can be kept solely on participants and their entries.
POSSIBLE PRIZES
Volties can find their string leading to some quite fabulous prizes:
    :crate: Event Bundles
    Goodie Bags
    :plasma-orb: Orbs
    Lanterns
    Volts

...you might even win something special from one of our good friends in town!
:frizz-celebrate::vanora_upsidedown::valsunglasses::volkanxD:

And with that, I wish you all good luck!

Amidst the food and game stalls bustling with activity, a sizable one captures your curiosity. In it, you see Vontell strenuously squeezing a very large bundle of red strings into a box with the help of Leo who made sure no strings strayed from the bundle. From the look of materials haphazardly tucked away here and there, preparations seemed to have been underway for quite some time. While fixing it up, he notices your approach and acknowledges you with a brief nod.

“Ah, greetings…as you can see, I am currently occupied with finishing preparations for this game. Oh, but worry not! I should be done soon…” You see a circular opening on top of the box, big enough for one hand to fit in but dark enough to obscure the inside from view. The bundle of strings extends from another opening on the back of the box to the wooden wall behind Vontell, each string attached to a numbered chime nailed to the wall. As you take note of the sheer number of prizes up for grabs, Vontell clears his throat and continues.

“There are those that might say that fate is a fickle mistress, one nearly impossible to grasp…but today is a completely different story!” With a flourish, he gestures towards the box prominently displayed in front of him. “I present to you, my dear Volties, a chance to take hold of the ever-fleeting strings of fate! Doing so is as simple as reaching in and seeing where it leads!” He proclaims, pointing at the bundle of strings leading towards the chimes. Upon closer inspection, you see that they are numbered from 1 to 50.

And so, Vontell and Leo take their places, each to one side of the box, expectantly eyeing you and a slowly growing crowd of interested participants.

Not too far away and seated on a bench, Vontell watched as the festivities continued, though one would have a hard time telling by the pondering look on his face. “Having witnessed the rather tumultuous situation earlier, I must wonder…” He mumbled, thoughts going to his own personal life circumstances. Vontell himself had his own proverbial skeleton-in-the-closet, one he wished did not burst out cackling mad anytime in the near future. “...How long has it been since I have heard of news from the Realm of Electric? Still, if what happened earlier was any indication, how long do I possibly have?” He got into a more relaxed position, picking up the book on the Blooming March he had brought before opening it and flipping through a few pages to distract his anxious thoughts.

Meanwhile over with Valentina’s group, having just finished discussing details and whatnot about Vaughn’s new occupation, he and Mayor Volkan moved to shake hands…before both clenched their outstretched hands into fists that knocked against each other. “Alright, glad ‘ta be on board, mayor! I won’t let ‘ya down! I won't go disappearin' again either." Vaughn said as the mayor nodded in response. They both watched as Valentina continued to regale Vanora with her other projects and blueprints, zooming from one topic to another as the latter did her best to keep up.
