With your encouragement, Vregory steps up to the destroyed sandcastle and lonely, broken bucket once more. Gingerly, he kneels, lying the broken pieces of the shovel beside it.
"It was a good shovel. Very useful. Now it looks very peaceful now, doesn't it?"

PROMPT: Talk to Violet
Violet gasps, "Vregory, you've managed to drag the vampire from his shade! And he looks..." She squints but ultimately claps her hands with a gleeful expression, "Like he's enjoying himself!"
You look at Virgil, then, and tilt your head questionably. What part of his deadpan face is giving away the impression of fun?
Vreg nods, "Virgil was busy working and couldn't come to play, but now we helped so he can. Trying to find keys so we can open this," he presents the large chest with a smile.
"Hey, that's not why I was-" Virgil tried to interject, but both of them ignored him while Val was busy with her own thing.
"Hmm, I see! Since you were able to do what I asked, Vregory, I have a convenient surprise for you." She looked to Val, "Val, could you retrieve the prize for our good sir please?"
You watch as the tinkerer accesses a special compartment on Violet's wheelchair, and pulls out what appears to be a key similar in design to the others. Val actually stands, then, and walks over to Vreg to place the key in his hold before returning to whatever it is she was working on prior to the interruption.
"Virgil's sister had a key? Thank!" Vreg jumps up in a cheer while Virgil seems to narrow his eyes. Why, you have no idea. But it seems like a very 'Virgil' thing to do in any situation.

"Make sure to have fun you two~" Violet smiles.

PROMPT: Dig the X
You see a suspicious looking red X on the ground. It's either a spot begging to be dug up, or a trap luring you in for the kill.
Luckily for you, Eugene seems knowledgeable about it. He whispers into Vreg's ear and the man nods to each series of unintelligible squeaks. "Got it," he says to the rat before brandishing the Neon Shovel from earlier.
You watch as he and Virgil dig where the X is, and over a period of time lugs up an extravagant looking treasure chest. The shovel sadly doesn't survive the tension.
Lost 1 Neon Shovel from your inventory! It should return to the bucket for a sad reunion.
"Eugene's buddies say good treasure here and they were right," Vreg smiles as he tries to open the chest, but finds that it's locked with a complex mechanism consisting of five keyholes that each look slightly different. "Hm, box can't be opened. Maybe the keys we've found can do it? We should go and find the rest because there's sure to be good stuff inside."
Gained 1 Ornate Treasure Chest! Heavy as it is gaudy.

Virgil adjusts his glasses while closing the notebook, "You really did it, huh? Hm. Interesting juxtaposition of the eternal filth of humanity and the fragile beauty of nature you've created..." He looks over the bottle, mumbling to himself, "But they'll need a better home..."
"Yup! Now Virgil can come with us," Vreg twiddles his thumbs with a hopeful smile.
The artist looks at him for a moment, and then lets out a sigh, nodding, "If you insist."

Vreg approaches the artist with a bounce in his step, "Virgil, Virgil! Is great to see you! Why hiding out here?"
Virgil glances up from his sketchbook, "Hey Vreg. There's too many people everywhere else. Guess I'm not 'hiding' well enough, though."
"I see, I see," Vreg nods while taking a seat next to him. You notice Eugene move as far away from Virgil as he can, but stays on Vreg's person. "Me and Eugene have done so much already, and I bet if you came with us, we'd find a lot more treasure with your eye for cool things."
Virgil pushes up his glasses with a look to the side, "I'm good, thanks. Hmm..."
Vreg perks up, "Hmm? That means you're thinking about something. Can I help?" He leans closer and the artist lets out a very slight sigh.
"Look," he says suddenly as a butterfly gently flutters by them. Vreg follows it with his eyes as the artist explains, "I need five of them for a project. Do that and maybe I'll join you-" He gets cut off as Vreg practically leaps up excitedly.
"Okay! I will catch them and make sure Virgil has fun too."
The artist shrugs, "Knock yourself out."
