i think hearing about that is a good reminder for me to donate to voltra when i can ... !
when i was younger on avi sites i didn't really have income i could spend but now that i do i'd want to do what i can for spaces i care about!

it was like every club ... i wanted to join a dance club but every single one u had to audition for and half of the ppl had been dancing their whole lives / went to competitions ... felt like nothing was beginner friendly there 
ahahha anime art club!! honestly that sounds Extremely fun and probably like a supportive carefree art space??
also i feel like ur style isn't super anime-y ?
haha no pressure!!! i'd wanna see it if u wanna post it tho

i'm trying to be more composition-minded but i feel like it's a slightly different approach maybe??

for sure i loved looking through them! i like that they made it a prompt where u could sort of do an independent piece ... i think last time the art contest had to do w the voltra npcs but i felt like i didn't know enough lore or abt the npcs to know what to draw

everything was unnecessarily preprofessional where i went to school so art clubs were still like ... art industry / do things to look good on paper focused
i def felt like i couldn't really make time for fun art the way like the kind u see on voltra i think same for me, middle/high school avi sites was most of the regular habit art i did :0 idk anyone irl who is into this kind of stuff though
but i was super excited to get back into this style of character art after joining voltra this year!!
