"Good. You already seem to be in much better spirits. I wonder what the cause is." She commented with a laugh.

"Alright... What did you have in the roster for tonight? You are the one who insisted on this date night. Or day in my case." She paused before smirking again, more mischievously though.

"planning to be trashed and scattered again?"

Hollie just chuckled lightly.

"Of course." was all she said.

"For this moment, let's get some food first."

Hollie paused before sighing.

".... Of course. Every day, after I have a night with Hal." She muttered, setting the coffee down before making sure she was properly covered. Once she knew she was good, she made her way to the door, opening it.

"Hello, Vincent." She said. "To what do I owe this pleasure?" She asked

"I'll admit, that does surprise me." She admited.

"Come on in." She added, stepping out of the way for him to enter, if he so desired.

"I've got the day off.' She added.

"And, even though I'm sure you're aware with how I'm looking, yes. Hal is here. He's still asleep though."

Hollie just shook her head, very lightly.

"It's all right, really." She commented.

"I don't feel as dead as I usually do." She added.

"Want some coffee?" She asked as she started to make her way to the ktichen again. "Fresh pot of quality shit from Sydney!"

"Probably because we didn't get... quite as lively as usual." Hollie admitted.

"Regardless."

A week later, Vincent was woken abruptly - Rowena was off in Austrailia for a demonstration , and had been there since before he left - by something crashing down in the basement. As he crawled out of bed, he felt the mana in the building rising.

And not nicely at that.

He started to make his way downstairs, his mana ready in case there was someone who had broken in. As he walked, he heard more bangs, more noises, and it didn't take long for him to identify who it was.

Racquel.

He didn't receive an answer from the one within. Instead, he was met with silence, and the mana seeming to become even more oppressive.

It wasn't reaching out as it had been before, but it was there. It was theatening, and it was something that he knew would take the smallest of pokes to attack.

Go away. His cell chimed to signal he had a text. When eh read it, he saw it was from the phone of the woman he was on his way to see.

I'm sure you'd rather not die. Was the reply text he received, but it was the last one. Anything else he sent was met with silence.

Meanwhile, She dialed her nephews number.

"Goddammit Lindsay. Answer your fucking phone." She snarled into the voicemail before hanging up and chucking her phone across the room. It hit the wall, but thankfully, the enhancements that were done by a friend of hers... it didn't break.

"Ah. Kay." was all Rocky said before hanging up. Her intention had been that she'd beat on her nephew, and maybe it'd help her get whatever the hell was causing this anger of hers out.

She needed an outlet, but there was a part of her that realised that it ... would make no difference.

As a result, she jus tput her fist through a wall before whipping her phone across the room again with a bit of a scream. It was a combination of frustration, and anger. Almost felt like the emotional well she had within her (as that's how she always envisioned it) was overflowing, being emptied.

She couldn't control it, and it terrified her.

The boys were there for about five more minutes before Ash took a swing at his brother, and someone appeared in between.

"Dammit! Stop!" The darkhaired catgirl exclaimed when she appeared, har face, and voice, betraying the tears that wanted to burst forth.

"Please, just... just stop." She added, her voice quieter.
