"I'll message my folks with stuff to bring from home for me." Cain said.

"I don't think I'll need to head back there." he reasoned.

He then sighed, and shook his head.

"We'll survive this." he told her.

"I promise." he assured her further.

Meanwhile, Tyson sighed as he looked at the alert on his phone once more, and then looked around.

"Right." he said quietly.

"Hey, kid!" he called out.

"Lemme know when you're ready!" he went on.

"Someone'll be sent to take the stuff we want to our designated dorm!" he continued, before pausing.

"...minus the cat! We'll have to take the cat there ourselves!"

"Well, get your tech together." he replied, putting all his stuff with her suitcase. It was a little less than what she had, but it was still a decent amount.

"Someone'll show up and take all of it to the dorm, and we'll need to speed to the Unit." he went on.

"...." he was then silent, before shaking his head.

"...damn it." he cursed.

"I'm sorry, Miki." he apologised.

"This is a shit situation, to understate it massively." he said further.

"But we'll get through this. We have to." he added with a light chuckle, as they heard a soft mewling from the couch.

Ty crossed his arms over his chest, and thought for a moment.

"That is true." he said.

"...it depends on how their governments react to this." he told her.

"They might be havens and bastions... or it could be the worst thing to happen..." he went on.

"As I said, this is... well, this situation is unprecedented, even though it's history repeating itself." he continued.

"The question is... WHY..."

Ty narrowed his eyes when he saw the cat bolt off to hide.

"...damn it." he cursed.

"Well... I know that thing likes to hide..." he mumbled, trailing off a bit, and heading off.

When Miki came back with the carrier, she saw that neither Ty nor Snowball were there. However, she DID hear him call out to her.

"Miki!" he said.

"Seems like the cat's decided to bury itself deep in your closet! Like REALLY deep in there!"

At first, it seemed like it wasn't working. It was actually about 4 minutes before the feline came sniffing around.

The cat continued to sniff the turkey, getting closer and closer to the carrier, before looking around.

Whatever the reason, the little fluffball slowly crawled into the carrier, and started to eat the turkey.

Ty, meanwhile, was just looking at his watch.

"Hm." he mumbled.

"...what should we do about...?" he muttered to himself, thinking about something intently.

Ty looked over towards her, and smirked.

"Good." he said.

"Now, gather your tech." he told her.

"Anything else you want to grab." he continued.

"...also, our vehicles." he mentioned.

"Do you want to take YOUR car to the Unit?" he asked. "While MY motorcycle is transported there?" he asked further.

"Because that bike is NOT meant for a cat in a carrier, and I don't know if we can risk public transportation right now."

Tyson just sighed heavily.

"I know." he said.

"I'm just saying that splitting up would not be good." he told her.

"If you don't want me in the car, just tell me." he went on.

"I'm merely stating that I think the two of us taking your car to the Unit is the best and safest solution, with my bike being transported there." he continued.

"Now, is there anything else you need or want to grab?" he asked.

Ty nodded.

"Gotcha." he said.

"I'll tell Hal to send the person to transport our stuff to show up in 5 minutes." he told her.

"That should give us enough time to grab the food and your tech." he went on.

"Or do you need longer?" he asked.

"Just because time IS a luxury right now." he reasoned.

Ty was silent for a moment, before sighing.

"Right." he said.

"Anyway, let's do this." he told her.

With that, they parted ways, and 5 minutes later, they had everything all together, and were standing and waiting for someone to arrive... when just then, someone did. They teleported right in front of them, and were wearing the standard colours for the retrieval squad.

"Is this everything?" they asked.

"The motorcycle in the garage as well." Ty told him. "Just take it to the underground parking garage." he said further.

"Can do." the person responded.

"We'll be driving to the Unit in her car." Ty then said, gesturing to Miki.

The person nodded, before handing them each a plastic card, with a green dot on it.

"Show those to security to be let in right away." he told them. "It shows that your things have been delivered to the Unit, and you are to be let in immediately." he went on.

"You'll need to get your card keys for your dorm from Agent Sharp." he added.

Ty thought for a moment.

"I don't know." he said.

"I mean... well, define 'die'." he then told her.

"I've been killed a lot." he went on. "I've seen the reaper plenty of timed." he continued.

"However, I've yet to discover a way to keep me dead." he shrugged.

"And believe me, there was a period in my life where I was trying." he then said.

"Daily."
