"All right." he said.

"Let's do it." he told her.

"You've survived it before, I'm sure you can do it again." he reasoned.

"Let's make our family a little bigger." he said further.

"Let's give Darrell a younger brother." he continued, before pausing.

"Or sister." he added.

Desiree just chuckled.

"Yeah... I'm pretty sure we can't figure out the gender yet." She admitted with a chuckle.

"But how do you feel about taking Darrell out for dinner to tell him?" She asked her voice curious.

"This is good news, after all. Rather celebratory, no?" She paused a moment before smiling. "Neither of us thought we could conceive again, after all."

"Sounds like a grand idea." he told her.

"Where, though?" he asked.

"I mean, because of who we are, we can get into... well, anywhere." he chuckled.

"Where would you prefer to go?" he asked.

"Any preference for tonight?" he asked further.

"How about we head to that one Thai joint that makes the pad thai he can't get enough of?" She asked as a suggestion.

"Assuming we can get there, with the timezone difference and all."

Jaden pondered it for a moment, before snapping his fingers.

"Oh!" he said.

"We can go to the one in England!" he told her.

"It should still be open, and it's opened by the same people that opened the original." he said.

"Remember, their kids decided to make it a 'franchise' of 2 stores." he laughed.

"But it'll be the same recipe, so he should still love it."

"Works for me." She said with a chuckle.

"I'm going to go tell Darrell about dinner. You make the reservation, will you?" She asked. After he'd agreed, she headed off and tapped her son on the head as he sat on thec ouch, his headphones on and watching things online.

"Hey there." She said as she sat down next to him after he'd paused his video and looked at her.

"I was wondering how you felt about some pad thai for dinner."

Darrell's face lit up when he heard that.

"Water park AND Pad Thai!?" he exclaimed.

"Great!" he said, before pausing.

"Wait..." he then muttered.

"Where?" he asked.

"Are you going to make it...?" he asked her further, trying his best to remain neutral, but she could hear the nervousness in his tone, and see the slight worry in his expression.

"Not at all! I learned my lesson the last time." She told him honestly.

"Your dad is currently making a reservation to head out to somewhere we haven't been before." She told him.

"It's a newer restaurant, but they have a Thai menu."

"Oh, okay!" he said, trying to play it off.

"When are we leaving?" he asked.

"As soon as possible." Desiree replied.

"Yay!" Darrell exclaimed.

"...do I have to take a bath before we go?" he then asked her.

Darrell just groaned.

"Okay, okay..." he said.

About 20 minutes later, his bath was done, and Darrell was in his room drying off.

Desiree made her way to the den, where Jaden was, watching TV.

He looked over towards her, and gave a thumbs-up.

"Done deal." he said.

"Reservation's for in an hour and a half."

A bit later, they were sitting at their reserved table at the restaurant. They'd already ordered food, and were happily enjoying it when Desiree spoke.

"Hey Darrell, I'm going to be getting rather fat over the next few months." She told him h onestly.

"Figured I shoudl tell you before you're questioning me."

"Your mother knows everything." Jaden replied.

This seemed to cause Darrell to look scared for a moment.

"But, on a different topic... how woudld you feel abotu a baby sister or baby brother?" She asked with a soft smile.

"I've heard that little siblings can be a really good thing, so I was curious as to if you want one or not."

Darrell's heart looked to sink at the thought.

Darrell heaved a huge sigh of relief.

"That DOES beg a question, though." Jaden said.

"Do we want to stay in that place?" he asked.

"Or get... an actual house?" he asked further.

"If we're going to have 2 kids, they're going to want to run around and such." he reasoned to Desiree.

"So maybe a house with a backyard or something would be better."

"But I do admit, more space would be nice.... It may be in our best interests to."
