Desiree just chuckled lightly as she carefully piled the cards back up and gave them a quick shuffle."I know." She said.
"But it gave me an insight as to who you are." She added.
"And that is something that is always good to have."

"Fine, fine." he said.
"I'll have a Chipotle Turkey Club sandwich." he told her.

He then sighed quietly, and seemed to be thinking about something.
"....feel like I'm forgetting something..."' he mumbled.

About five minutes later, Desiree returned and just sighed as she grabbed her bag."I'll be back, Jaden." She told him.
"I've gottta go check my account. Seems it may have been cleared out."

"Depends on where you bank, and where the nearest branch is, I suppose." he then added, scratching his chin a bit.

She did return at about the fifteen minute nmark, and did not look to be the most impressed - and that was saying something considering how cute her face was.
"Yeahg.... I was right." She said as she sat down.
"My savings have been cleared out. Again."

Desiree was silent, and seemed to have shrunk back again with his outbursts. "I..." She started before sighing lightly to try and compose herself.
"Yeah... again. It's happened before." She then said.
"I keep changing accounts, but my brother is an amazing hacker." She then told him.
"And as a result... he keeps getting into my accounts."

"If I go to the cops... well... I'll be dead by the next sunrise." He could hear the despondence in her tone with that.
'So I can't. And they can't do anythign anyway. I've gone before, it led to a dead end."

In front of him was a woman that was apparently being robbed blind constantly, with her life being threatened as well, and the police wouldn't do anything about it.
And this torment was coming from her OWN FAMILY.
He felt the anger and rage welling up within him, as his hands clenched into fists, and he started to quiver a little.

Desiree noticed Jaden's current temperament and sighed before getting to her feet. 'I'm sorry, but I should take my leave here." She told him with a soft smile, hesitation in her voice, and posture.
"thank you fo the deck, and we'll meet again after I deal with... this current redicament." She paused here, bit her lip on the inside a bit.

Kalin checked her phone a few minutes later before pausing.Uhhh... what's going on? She asked in response. There was no way for her to know what was going, and certainly no way for her to offer a means of helping without knowing that.
