There are some good authors out there these days - not afraid of taking (let's call it) "realistic" stances on certain topics and mixing it up with historical references, a decent plot, etc.
This is exactlyYeah I had that with a show I watched a few nights ago. Cursed, it's the King Arthur myth. But instead we're following the Lady of the Lake, before she gave the sword to Arthur. Like Arthur is a PoC now, with a lesbian sister.

That's some of the stuff we've been watching too. I wasn't real impressed with the new season of Lucifer though - it's really stretching its storyline ...
This is exactlyOh dude I loved the new season, because it's pulling from much older myths than just Christianity. Like Lucifer was originally a Greek god that Rome stole and put into the bible. In his Greek myths he does in fact have a twin.

This is exactlyHonestly most people won't really. The fact Lucifer was originally Phosphorus and a Titan, isn't widely known. A lot of these shows I've been appreciating because I love mythology and history.

Ok - hubby just came home, and it's time for me to disappear for a little bit to cook dinner. I shouldn't be away for more than a few minutes since it's a simple sheetpan meal tonight.
