"And no, nothing else coming to mind. I'll mesage you if anything else, and you can reply whenever you see it." She continued.

"Go rest with Nakia. You don't need to hang around here."

Lunet just beamed.

"You know I will." She assured him.

"Go spend some time with Nakia, even if just by snuggling up with her in bed." She added.

It took her about half a week to find a place. When she called Leo, and they checked it out, they found it was perfect.

After they'd managed to rent it (admittedly a six month lease) they got to work, hoping to finish it within that six months.

Lunet was often out late, and had Cain agree to say that she was with him if Hal was ever asking.

Sometime arounda month later, Erica made her way to Hal's office and waited as per the receptionists order. Once she was beckoned in, she made her way in with a sigh.

"I thought you'd like to know that interrogation is having some serious tech issues, and the IT deparmtnet isn't answering." She said after closing the door. She didn't think she'd ben there too long, but knew he tended to prefer the door closed for privacy reasons.

Erica was silent.

"I suspected as much." She commented.

"The files I have for the current case I'm working on are gone." She added.

"If I can help at any point, let me know, hey?" Erica said.

"Because... this can't get out, and I know that." She added.

"Anyway... I'll lkeave you to what you need to do. I'm going to and make sure that I still have paper files of this."

He was met with silence before someone approached him, looking panicked and frantic.

"We don't know." She answered simply, honestly.

"Neither of us have any sort of idea what happened, or even when it got in here." She continued, sounding ready to panic.

The one that had approached him before sighing.

"... We... .we can try." She said after a moment or two.

"What do you mean by 'try'?" Hal asked, sounding notably unimpressed

".... We've tried rebooting the systems... but we can't even power down. It seems to be of a supernatural variety." She told him honestly.

"When Jared went to do a hard shut down... he was shocked - and we don't know if he will survive."

She just nodded.

"... Hard shut down involves unplugging it." She told him honestly.

"He was taken to the med wing, and I think Brooklyn is down there with him at the moment." She paused a moment. "More specifically, she's the one that carried him down there, and hasn't returned."

When Hal reached the location in question, he found it eerily silent in there. At first, at least.

Until he heard a muffled, suppressed, cry from the left, followed by a door closing, and a heavy sigh.

He saw the blonde woman he knew was a stellar medic, making her way to a washing station, and removing the protective gear as she walked. She hadn't noticed him.

Angela just sighed before shaking her head.

"No." She answered honestly as she dumped the protective gear where it was meant to be.

"... Sadly, I can't save someone." She said, not knowing that he knew who was there, and that was why he'd come out.

"I mean, he's still alive for the moment, but the damage is extreme. From what I know, that plug shouldn't even have that much of a current running through it."
