Troy found the two of them pretty amusing. Lyle was a strange one, very anti social yet always said what was on his mind with no concern for anyone's feelings. Aria seemed to be the only one who had him tamed aside from his parents and she seemed to have quite an effect on him. "I see." he said and looked at Lyle, who was looking at him with a proud smirk on his face. They let Aria go on ahead of them and they narrowed their eyes at each other. There was an unspoken friendly rivalry going on between the two. One of which neither of them wanted Aria to find out.

Lyle looked at Troy and silently challenged him to a race. It would be fun, run deep into the forest and then run back to Aria. First one to reach her won and Lyle was pretty confident that he would win. Troy smirked and nodded, he wasn't opposed to some friendly competition. He may not have his own horse, but he didn't need his personal horse to win a race.

Lyle smirked at Troy then noticed Aria had stopped out of the corner of his eye so he and Troy quickly rejoined her. "You okay?" Lyle asked her curiously. "Why did you stop?" he asked and looked around. Had she seen something or someone out here? "Perhaps she was curious as to why were were leaving her alone." Troy hinted. "O-oh! Oh...w-well no reason. Just thought she'd want some space is all, jeez." Lyle muttered and held the reins of his horse tightly then looked at Troy who did the same and without warning the two had their horses gallop off as fast as they could.

The two princes enjoyed racing each other and the horses seemed to enjoy being able to just run around. They reached a part of the woods then turned around and started racing back to where they had left Aria, laughing as they did. "Hey you're cheating!" joked Troy as he laughed and had his horse jump over a fallen tree. "What? I am not!" Lyle replied and kept heading right for where Aria should have been, but when they got there they noticed she was no longer there. Well now they couldn't even focus on the race. Now they were more concerned to find Aria. Quickly, they started making their way back to the stables surely she'd be there.

Lyle glared at her then looked at Troy, "Look at her, it's as if nothing even happened." he muttered. "What the heck was that Aria? Why did you just vanish? You could have-" he was stopped in mid sentence by a single look from Troy. Troy looked at Aria and nodded, "Yes, it was fun until we realized you were gone. Lady Aria, you shouldn't just vanish like that, you had us both very worried you know." he said softly. "Yeah! We thought something bad had happened to you. Why didn't you just wait for us? It wasn't like we were just going to abandon you." Lyle said honestly, receiving a look from Troy and a shake of his head.

"That's because you just leave without telling anyone anything! Of course people are going to worry if you just leave without saying anything Aria, it's only the normal thing to do." he said seriously. "Now, now calm down Lyle. Remember what I told you to do in situations like these?" he reminded and Lyle muttered something then took a deep breath and slowly let it out. "Lady Aria, I don't think you should stop doing this. You have a beautiful horse here, what would happen if you stopped spending any time with her? You seem to enjoy horse back riding and you don't mean to make people worry, I know you don't so there really is no need for you to stop doing something you enjoy to do."

Troy sighed as he watched Aria leave them there. He stepped off his horse as Lyle did the same, "Do you see what you just did?" Troy asked him. Lyle looked at Aria and groaned. "Yeah she's angry. This isn't something new though. We seem to do this a lot. She'll get over it though. When she's angry I just leave her alone. I tell her the truth and then she just runs away. I tell you, she just wants to have fun but I guess the moment I start having fun then it's bad? I didn't even want to do any of this. I'd rather be inside reading a book or even better, working. She was the one who wanted to do this. I said fine and I improvised. We were having fun and now she runs away. It's infuriating really....and people wonder why I just stay indoors." Lyle explained as Troy just pat his shoulder. "We shouldn't have done what we did. We should have told her." he said to Lyle.

"Of course I'd be upset, because you would have done so without SAYING anything! As long as you say something about where you'll be that way I know where to look for you then I should have no problem. But the issue is you think you can go around and not tell me where it is you're going. I need to know where you're going Aria, it's common courtesy. You DO know that don't you?" Troy sighed and covered Lyle's mouth with his hand and turned him away from her. "You need to calm down Lyle." he warned. "If you don't, you're going to lose a very special lady." he said softly then turned to look at Aria, giving her a sad smile. "Our apologies Lady Aria, it won't happen again, I promise." Troy answered calmly. Over the course of a few hours, he grew close to Lyle and saw him as a younger brother. If Lyle and Aria really cared about each other, then Troy wanted to make sure that Lyle didn't mess things up with her.

"There, apologies accepted on both ends. So then, are we better now?" he asked then looked at Aria and shook his head. "We don't mind. Whatever you would like to do miss Aria, Lyle and I will behave ourselves. Won't we Lyle?" he asked, removing his hand from over his mouth to let him speak. Lyle rubbed his eyes and nodded. "Yes, we'll behave this time." he answered calmly. Troy smiled then, "See? Further crisis averted." he said and chuckled. "You two really are a treat to be around, and I'm glad to see that I have some sort of hold over you Lyle. A shame when I leave isn't it? Who will keep you in line and prevent you from ruining any chance you have with miss Aria?"

Lyle gave Aria a look when he heard what she said, "What's that supposed to mean?" he asked her. "Books! Sounds wonderful yes, come along now. Miss Aria would you please lead the way?" Troy asked, gently squeezing Lyl's shoulder to shut him up. He really didn't want something else to start up another pointless argument. He felt bad for Aria, having to deal with Lyle's outbursts, he wished he could stay always to keep the young prince in check but sadly he coudln't. "I will have to give you my home phone number that way we can continue to keep in contact. Don't think that just because I'm leaving it means I never want to speak to either of you again." he said and laughed.
