Ty hung his head slightly.

"...yeah..." he said.

"I know." he told her.

"But it's just a matter of time, I'm sure of it." he went on.

"Just... gotta keep moving until things start falling apart." he lamented further.

"...you okay, though?" he then asked her.

"Heh..." Ty chuckled lightly.

"Fair." he said.

"...." he was then silent again, before sighing.

"By the way, don't tell anyone this." he then mumbled.

"But someone in the medical wing has... Ouroboros."

"I wouldn't be." Ty responded.

"Hence the lockdown." he said.

"And the medwing being under quarantine." he went on.

"We have a confirmed case of it." he told her further.

"So... yes. This is not a good situation." he mumbled.

"If Angela hasn't already told them." Ty responded.

"She might have, she might not have." he said.

"Just make sure it's not widely known." he continued. "It'll cause a mass panic, and this place will crumble faster than it will already." he said further, shaking his head a little.

"...damn it." he then muttered.

"I need a drink."

"I know." Ty growled.

"Right, then... hm." he mumbled.

"I WANT a drink." he clarified.

"I know I'm not going to GET it, Hal doesn't keep alcohol here, and there's none on the premises." he continued. "...save for maybe wines in the cafeteria to cook with, but... that's another thing." he then mumbled.

He then sighed and looked around some.

"Maybe I'll just deplete his coffee reserves until I vibrate." he said, a HINT of a joking tone to his otherwise depressed voice.

There was a stunned silence for a moment. A palpable moment. As Ty looked towards her, before a corner of his mouth turned upwards, even though she couldn't see it, he stifled a laugh.

But another one escaped.

"Oh my god." he said.

"You said that so friggin' serious." he went on, before falling forward a bit and laughing into his sleeve for a good 10 seconds. He allowed it to die down a little, before clearing his throat to stop it, and breathed heavily for a second or two.

"Man, when I know you're running with something, but you sound like THAT, it hits the funny bone just right."

Tyson chuckled a little more, before shaking his head.

"It's fine, it's fine." he told her.

"It lightened the mood a lot and I know you meant well." he continued.

"So it's a 'you're welcome' situation." he assured her.

"Thanks, Hazel."

"Hm." Ty mumbled.

"For now, see if the lab can use you, or needs anything." he told her.

"Nipping this in the bud is what matters." he said.

"And we need to be prepared for anything." he sighed.

"...oh." he then mumbled.

"Right, forms for Kiah to fill out when she has the time." he finished, handing some papers to Hazel.

Ty looked at her, before looking away slightly for a moment.

"...yeah..." he mumbled.

"You don't need to bother yourself with that, but... thanks." he muttered.

"Tell you what, if you want to make your way back here after the lab, maybe bring back some of that jerky the cafeteria has and perhaps an energy drink or two." he then added.

"I'll be here. In the meantime. Pretty much constantly." he said.

"When there's a state of emergency like this in the Unit, the one in charge lives in the office, essentially."

"Thank you." Ty responded.

"I'll let them know you're on your way." he told her.

"...the lab, that is." he clarified.

"That's it. For now." he continued.

"You should go before I bring you down even more." he sighed.
