@MoodyB: Yeah, I get that. You haven't really been at the whole "art thing" for too long, have you? Start where you can and build from there. I'm sure it'll all work out and you'll eventually acquire everything you need as time goes by :3

@Wildfire: technically i have...but i didnt get into fundamentals until quite late.
and since my fam was broke i didn't ask about books.
i used to go to the library checking out drawing books but we stopped going years ago.
I've been drawing since i was 5 and got a few books roughly when i was 19 or 20.
but when we stopped celebrating birthdays i didnt ask for any more art books as that was the only time i asked for things.
so now im somewhat working i try to buy them myself.

@Totalanimefan: I'm glad it worked out for you. I haven't used or even thought about Excel in years, probably... but I'm also not working in an office or need to do things that excel is usually used for..

Her bf's bday was yesterday, too, so that was fun.
