I slept fine, lol it's a work day. I usually get up this early.
Aaahhh... yeah, I was thinking that was another possibility - that you were going in to work for the early shift :3 I'm glad you slept ok.
I go in at 1pm, but I begin my journey there at 10:15am. So I like to give myself time to fuck around at home.
Ahhh, yeah, I get that. I don't like racing out of the house immediately upon waking up either.
And I keep forgetting how long your commute is!

Lol I also wake up early enough to hit the snooze at least three times. It tricks my brain into thinking I slept in a bit.
LOL. That doesn't work for me - it just annoys the heck out of me and deprives me of sleep! XD But I also don't usually have to set an alarm any more and am not chronically sleep-deprived as a general rule (exceptions apply)
That's fair. Lol though even on days I don't set my alarm, I still manage to wake up at roughly the same time.
It really does.
It's kind of amazing if you think about it.
But it also surprises me how quickly a body can fall out of a routine too...

Yeah lol
... that's the bit that can be annoying, imo... putting effort in to something only to lose the effort if you take a couple days off (I'm thinking about activities like running, for example)
I used to get up to run every morning, but I stopped doing it a while ago.
Yeah, I've done my stint running 5ks, etc. too. I got tired of always, always, losing ground with my efforts if I took a day off. And my body doesn't like it... not really. Too much effort for not enough result...
I mostly ran to just do it. And it did keep me smaller lol. But yeah there was a stretch where I just couldn't go for a run, and it slowly got to where I just stopped.
Yes, that is pretty much my experience as well. And then I'd start again and go through all the effort from zero (or near enough), just to stop again. I got tired of it. My body got tired of it. It's not worth it, imo :(
Now that it's cooler, I might try to go back to hiking some. Whenever I've got a chance to go.
Yeah, I like hiking too... as long as it's not through sugar sand or swamp XD
You probably have better areas to hike than I do...

Yeah, our trails aren't through stuff like that really.
The benefits of where you lived versus where I live.
