"Well. That makes sense." Rene replied.
"And fair enough." he continued.
"I'll see what I can get you." he told her.
"And.... yep, you're coming along nicely." he confirmed.
"Your leg was a real mess." he commented.
"Took us a bit to get it back together." he chuckled.

Lynne sighed.
"I'm not surprised." She commented.
"Anytime I break a bone, it's usually brutal." She added before shrugging.
'It's just life for me, overall." she added, but then paused.
"How long am I going to be stuck here?" She then asked
"Overall, not too long." Rene replied.
"Thanks to the... medical advancements we've made here, you can be up and about in... 4 days." he went on.
He had to be careful here.
He didn't know whether or not she knew of mana, so he needed to choose his words wisely.
"So yeah, not long, considering." he assured her.
"Where are you staying right now?" he asked.
"Seeing as you're here for a visit and all."
"Thanks to the... medical advancements we've made here, you can be up and about in... 4 days." he went on.

"Where are you staying right now?" he asked.
"Seeing as you're here for a visit and all."
"I was staying at the Motel 6 in the south end of the city." Lynne answered.
"Checked out today before tryin' to figure out where to catch a bus to get down to the airport." She added before sighing. "Which is when, you know, this happened." She added, motioning in the general vicinity of her leg.
"Well, suffice to say, you've already missed your flight." Rene said.
"You've been out for about 24 hours." he told her.
"But I'm sure that we can work something out for you." he then said further.
"Anyway, you mentioned you're not picky." he then continued.
"How about pizza?" he asked.
"That work for you?"
"You've been out for about 24 hours." he told her.
"But I'm sure that we can work something out for you." he then said further.
"Anyway, you mentioned you're not picky." he then continued.
"How about pizza?" he asked.
"That work for you?"
Lynne just sighed.
"Perfect." she muttered.
"all right, hopefully they are understanding regarding my ticket home." she added.
"And pizza sounds good." She added after a moment.
"It's not something I get often."
"I'm sure they will be." Rene replied with a small smirk.
He was already making plans.
"Say." he then said.
"You look like a friend of mine." he commented.
"Name's Leo. Or Leonard." he went on.
"Know anyone by that name?" he asked with a small chuckle.
He was already making plans.
"Say." he then said.
"You look like a friend of mine." he commented.
"Name's Leo. Or Leonard." he went on.
"Know anyone by that name?" he asked with a small chuckle.
Lynne was silent for a moment before shaking her head.
"Nope." She answered.
"There's a Leonardo in my graduating class though?" She asked, wondering if that was possibly whomever he was inquiring about.
"He goes by Leon though."
"Nah." Rene replied.
"Don't worry about it." he said.
"Was a shot in the dark, anyway." he told her.
"Oh, and Vincent has been waiting for you to wake up." he continued.
"Do you wish to speak with him?" he asked.
"Or would you prefer no visitors?"
"Don't worry about it." he said.
"Was a shot in the dark, anyway." he told her.
"Oh, and Vincent has been waiting for you to wake up." he continued.
"Do you wish to speak with him?" he asked.
"Or would you prefer no visitors?"
Lynne shrugged.
"Sure." She added.
"I should thank him for hanging by me while waiting for the ambulance, anyhow." She added after a moment.
"Beyond that, well... if he's been waiting for me to wake, it'd be rude to send him away, I'm sure."
"You got it." Rene replied.
"See you later." he finished, before heading out.
And sure enough, about a minute later, Vincent returned.
"Hello again." he greeted her.
"Nice to see you up and about." he commented.
"How's your leg feel?" he then asked.
"See you later." he finished, before heading out.
And sure enough, about a minute later, Vincent returned.
"Hello again." he greeted her.
"Nice to see you up and about." he commented.
"How's your leg feel?" he then asked.
Lynne waved in the direction of the door, but didn't turn to face him.
"Hello again." She returned.
"And kinda numb, actually. But I suspect that's because of whatever painkillers they have me on." She added after a moment or two.
"And thank you, as well." She added. "It may not have been necessary for you to stay with me as you had, but thank you. It was rather sweet of you to do so."
Vincent just smiled.
"Well, I'm not medically trained." he said.
"But I do what I can to help." he told her.
"I'm just glad you're doing better." he went on.
"But I shouldn't be surprised." he then said. "After all, this is one of the best hospitals... well... in the country, actually." he chuckled.
"Well, I'm not medically trained." he said.
"But I do what I can to help." he told her.

"But I shouldn't be surprised." he then said. "After all, this is one of the best hospitals... well... in the country, actually." he chuckled.
Lynne just sighed.
"That doesn't matter, really." She added.
"The fact that you hung out, well, I appreciate it." She told him sincerely.
"So thank you." She then paused a moment.
"Beyond that, is there anything you would like to know about the girl you are saying that will have no hospital bills?"
Vincent just chuckled.
"Heh, I suppose so." he said.
"What brings you here?" he asked.
"To this country? This province? This city?" he asked further.
"You said you were here after graduation." he continued.
"Why did you pick here, of all places in the world?"
"Heh, I suppose so." he said.
"What brings you here?" he asked.
"To this country? This province? This city?" he asked further.
"You said you were here after graduation." he continued.
"Why did you pick here, of all places in the world?"
Lynne was silent for a moment before laughing lightly.
"I came to see Bullet for my Valentine in concert." She told him honestly.
"That show was last night, so I was heading home today... yesterday... uh. I don't even know anymore." She commented.
"Ahhh, I see." Vincent chuckled.
".....hmmm...." he then muttered.
"I wonder..." he said to himself.
"It's such a shame that your experience here had to end so sourly." he commented.
"I might know someone that could get a special visitor here for you." he told her.
".....hmmm...." he then muttered.
"I wonder..." he said to himself.
"It's such a shame that your experience here had to end so sourly." he commented.
"I might know someone that could get a special visitor here for you." he told her.
Lynne was silent before shaking her head.
"No" She stated after a second or two.
"I thank you for all you've done here, but I just need to get to the airport, sort out my trip home, and then head home. That's it." She assured him.
"Well, that will have to wait." Vincent said.
"You'll be here for a few days, at least." he told her.
"So... I suppose all there is to say, is get comfortable." he went on.
"Oh, and what about your luggage and belongings?" he asked.
"We can go and sort that out while you're here." he continued.
"Where were you staying? Specifically, that is. Where in the city?"
"You'll be here for a few days, at least." he told her.
"So... I suppose all there is to say, is get comfortable." he went on.
"Oh, and what about your luggage and belongings?" he asked.
"We can go and sort that out while you're here." he continued.

"There is no shame in deterrence. Having a weapon is very different from actually using it." - Ghandi
"All of my everything is at the airport already." Lynne answered.
"I have it in one of the holding areas." she added honestly
"So that should be safe."
