Andrew was silent as he heard that.
"Well, I don't understand why you'd keep this quiet, but all right." he said.
"Your secret is safe with me." he assured her.
"Does anyone else know of this?" he asked.
"Anyone at all? Like... I dunno, does Casey know of this?" he asked further.
"She doesn't really sculpt all that much to my knowledge, but she IS an artist." he reasoned with a small shrug.

"It's actually rather simple." Lily commented.
"I've a bit of a reputation."
"And I really don't want people to NOT be wary of me. I could go off at a moment's notice, and really? Let's keep that as the main thing known."
".....hm." Andrew muttered.
"I see." he said.
"Fair enough. I suppose." he said further.
"Right, soooooo... nobody else knows." he commented.
"Got it." he said.
"I'll make sure to keep my tongue when talking to Casey, especially, seeing as she talks about sculpting from time to time." he then added.

"Got it." he said.
"I'll make sure to keep my tongue when talking to Casey, especially, seeing as she talks about sculpting from time to time." he then added.
"That'd be grand." Lily commented.
"Thanks." She added before shrugging.
"But yeah. I have these cgloves to keep my hands clean when I wanna, and to avoid my mana from affecting the clay when I don't want my mana involved. So I know they block it."
Andrew nodded again.
"Makes sense." he said.
"And good on you for such planning." he told her.
"Still, you'll need to learn about controlling your poisons." he said further.
"You seem to be able to produce some very dangerous and potent ones."
"Makes sense." he said.
"And good on you for such planning." he told her.
"Still, you'll need to learn about controlling your poisons." he said further.
"You seem to be able to produce some very dangerous and potent ones."
"Yeah, I know." Lily commented.
"I was planning on bringing it up with Mom after school." She then admitted.
"I hadn't intended to do anything of the sort to anyone, was trying not to touch anyone. But he just.... fuck he pissed me off."
"I understand." Andrew responded.
"And, truth be told, I'm not even mad." he told her.
"So you're not going to get any sort of lecture or whatever." he said.
"Not from me, anyway." he added.
"We'll see about your mother when she gets home..." he then added.
"And, truth be told, I'm not even mad." he told her.
"So you're not going to get any sort of lecture or whatever." he said.

"We'll see about your mother when she gets home..." he then added.
Lily just sighed lightly.
"I dunno about Mom. She may be... I dunno. We'll see, as you said." She commented.
"Anyway, anything else?" She asked.
"Probably best to keep some distance between us, as I have no idea if it'll start being airborne."
"Highly doubtful." Andrew responded.
"And even if it does become airborne, I can grow flowers to neutralize it." he said.
"Regardless, I'll leave you to do your thing." he told her.
"Odds are your mother will want to see you when she gets home." he went on.
"So... be prepared for that."

"Don't worry. I am." Lily then commented.

Lily was graduating that year, and Luke wasn't far behind her. As it stood, his grades were better than his sisters were, but.... he was failing one class. His parents had been called and had received a letter about it, as well. As it stood, he was sitting in the classroom, waiting for them to arrive. School had been let out, aside from him of course, and he was stuck there. Waiting.
After about ten minutes, Anna made her way in with Andrew and sighed.
"You should've said something, Luke." She commented.
"You know I'd have taught you how to cook."
Luke just shrank down into himself a bit when his mother said what she did.
"...........yeah." he said.
"I know." he muttered.
"So why didn't you?" Andrew asked.
"Because cooking... is simple!" Luke exclaimed suddenly. "I shouldn't be so stupid as to need someone to tutor me on how to do it!" he said, shame in his tone.
".......simple?" Andrew asked.
"My son, cooking is anything BUT simple." he told him.
"....huh?" Luke muttered, glancing towards them.
"...........yeah." he said.
"I know." he muttered.
"So why didn't you?" Andrew asked.

"Trust me, cooking is a freaking science." Anna commented with a laugh.
"Learning how to season things to taste right, to not screw up a dish, and the like? Yeah. Good. Luck." She then said before pausing.
"Baking is more of a mathematical thing though. Follow the steps to do it. Cooking is just .... is art, it's science. You mix things and see what happens."
"Ah good, you're here." the teacher then said as she stepped into the room.
"Wonderful. Now we are just waiting on the one who has agreed to be tutoring Luke."
"Huh?" Luke asked.
"Yes." Andrew said.
"Your two options are to repeat the year, or have a private tutor help you catch up and get your grade up to snuff." he told Luke.
"From the ground up, it would seem." he added.
"Except for your baking. That seems to be fine. But your actual cooking is going to require someone with... considering skill... teaching you." he said further.
"Yes." Andrew said.

Anna nodded.
"So we were working with your teacher to find someone to tutor you." She stated.
"She is a bit older than you, which is expected, but we found the perfect tutor for you." the teacher than said as there was a knock on the door.
"Ah! That would be her. Come on in!" She called. The door then opened and one of the tallest people in the school walked in. She had short black hair with gold streaks, small black horns above her long pointed ears, and a darker skin tone than one would usually find. She looked almost a deep violet.
"Hey Kelly." Anna said. The teen just waved.
"Hey Anna." Kelly responded with as she made her way to one of the desks and sat down atop it.
Luke was certainly surprised when he saw who it was.
He knew who she was, and they had met numerous times in the past, but... something seemed... different now.
He was seeing her in a new way.
But he couldn't quite put his finger on it right now.
"Kelly." Andrew greeted Kelly.
"Thank you for agreeing to teach our son how to not be a disaster in the kitchen." he thanked her.

Kelly just nodded.
"Yeah, not a problem." She said with a smile.
"I need my community service hours anyway, so it's a win-win." She added.
"Luke, do you agree to have Kelly as a tutor? Or do you have an issue with this arrangement? Now would be the time to speak up." The teacher then said.
Luke was silent for a moment, before shaking his head quickly.
"No!" he said.
"No, this is fine." he told them.
"Good." Andrew responded.
"Right then, I guess that about covers it." he said.
"Kelly, we'll work around your schedule." he told Kelly.
"Let us know if you need anything from us."
"No!" he said.
"No, this is fine." he told them.
"Good." Andrew responded.

Kelly nodded.
"Of course." She said.
"Luke, we'll talk tomorrow during Lunch." She then said.
"Figure out a gameplan and such, ok?" She asked.
Luke just nodded.
"All right." he replied.
"That works for me." he said.
"Awesome!" Andrew chimed in.
"I suppose we're done here, then." he said.
"Kelly, say hello to your father and mother for me." he said to the girl.
"All right." he replied.
"That works for me." he said.
"Awesome!" Andrew chimed in.
"I suppose we're done here, then." he said.
"Kelly, say hello to your father and mother for me." he said to the girl.
"There is no shame in deterrence. Having a weapon is very different from actually using it." - Ghandi
Kelly nodded.
"Will do." She stated after a moment or two.
"Whenever Dad gets home." She added after a moment or two.
