Anya just laughed as Azazel said what he did before shaking her head.

"Why? Probably because of the fact that you knew I'd be asking how the hell you could have any sort of idea or whatever?" She asked with a shrug.

"I dunno." She then said before shrugging again.

"At any rate, Aedan would... it'd be insane. She'd... be a friend... but considering what she is, and what I am... it'd be... not a very nice relationship for either of us, I think."

"I see." Azazel replied.

"Well... I mean... whatever?" he said.

"I don't really know what to say to that." he admitted as they got into the car.

"I should have known this would happen." he scolded himself.

"That realm ALWAYS leaves a mark..."

"That it does." Anya agreed with a light sigh.

"Anyway, do you know where Aedan lives? Or do you need me for navigation?" She then asked after a moment, not entirely sure if he did know. She knew that he and Aedan were friends, but that didn't mean he'd been there. They'd just recently returned, after all.

Azazel was silent for a moment.

"Ah..." he stammered.

"Hm." he mumbled.

"Good point." he said.

"I don't know... where, exactly, she lives." he admitted.

"So... yeah, I suppose I DO need some navigation help..."

Anya just chuckled.

"Not a problem." She said before putting Aedan's address into the GPS that the car had.

"There ya go." She said.

[b]"Now drive. I'm worried about her."[/b[

Azazel nodded.

"Right." he said.

With that, he started the car and drove it out of the parking lot.

He drove straight to where Aedan's address was, making sure to have the minimal amount of stops, and they arrived about 15 minutes of driving.

He pulled up by the door, and turned the car off.

"Let's go." he said.

By the time he'd finished saying that, Anya was already on her way to the front door. She pounded on it a few times before growling.

"Dammit. It's locked." She stated before putting her hand over the lock. She didn't say anything, and there was no way that Azazel could see what she was doing.

"Damn, more difficult than expected..." she muttered

"....eh?" Azazel muttered.

"More difficult?" he asked her.

"What do you mean?" he asked further.

"You trying to pick the lock or something?"

"Huh? Oh. yeah." Anya answered before moving her hand away from the lock a bit, allowing him to see all the webbing going from her hand, and into the lock.

"One reason I love my webbing." She then said before they heard a click.

"And done."?

Azazel just nodded.

"Great." he said.

"Come on, then." he told her.

He opened the door, poked his head in, and then stepped inside.

"Aedan!?" he called out.

"You here!?"

There was silence. It was eerily silent at that. Azazel didn't spend the most time with Aedan, but he did know that she was never this quiet.

". . . AEDAN!" Anya called into the house, to receive nothing in return.

After a few seconds though, possibly closer to a minute, they both heard something from upstairs.

Azazel looked at Anya, before looking at the ceiling.

"You heard?" he asked.

She nodded.

Azazel quickly ran up the stairs, searching for where he'd heard the sound.

"Third door on the left!" Anya called after him, telling him where Aedan's room was.

When he reached the door she mentioned, there was silence from within... although he heard what almost sounded like light cries within. They were barely audible.

Aedan was in there.

".........." Azazel was silent as he heard that, and checked the door handle.

Sure enough, he found it locked, but with Anya's help, it was picked open.

He then quickly opened the door, and stepped inside.

"Aedan?" he asked, looking around, scanning for Aedan.

He saw Aedan quickly. She was in the far corner, seeming to be trying to melt into it. Her hands were up at the sides of her head, grasping her hair. She did not look to be in a good state for the moment, either.

"Oh Aedan..." Anya commented as she saw her friend. She didn't know what it was that she was supposed to make of this, but she knew that she had to leave it to Azazel. That's all she could do for the moment.

Azazel did not hesitate.

He made his way over, and raised a hand up.

As he did so, inky darkness seemed to extend from his fingertips, into long spike-like claws.

He then plunged the spikes into Aedan's chest... but she felt no pain.

On the contrary, she felt pain leaving her, and like a large weight had been lifted off her shoulders.

Aedan was silent, but he saw her relax. As that weight was lifted, as things were far more livable for her, she ended up passing out.

Then again, she hadn't slept since they'd returned, and it wasn't hard to tell either.

He caught her with little issue, before sighing and setting her down on her bed.

Once he set her down, he finished extracting what was in her, and sighed.

"There." he said.

"Done." he told Anya.

"That should be it." he went on, making his way to her.

"She should be all right now."

Anya didn't say anything before letting out a breath of relief. At least, was silent for a few seconds.

"Thank you." She stated.

"Seriously... thank you." She added, He could hear the sincerity in her voice as well.

Azazel sighed as well.

"No need to thank me." he told her.

"I did it because it was the right thing to do." he said.

".......and... well..." he muttered further, trailing off a bit.

"...I was worried about her, too."
