"Hey Marc" She greeted with a rather lackluster wave

"Apparently I heard a banshee scream. Can you grab me a glass of water, I really don't want to get up." She said after a moment or two.

He then just sighed and made his way to the kitchen, pouring her some ice water, and bringing it back to her.

"Here." he said.

"..." he was then silent for a moment, thinking about something.

"Wait." he muttered.

"How are you able to hear at ALL, if you heard a banshee's shriek?"

Jasmine was silent for a moment before carefully sitting up and taking what she'd been given.

"Yeah... see, there was something, and just... ugh." She started before shaking her head.

"All I did, was go there to pass on some information, and then... just... ugh. Tonight wasn't the best night, obviously." She added as she set the glass on the coffee table and just flopped back down onto her back.

And then he pieced it all together.

"Oh... oh, that answers my question." he said, seeing as SHE hadn't.

"Guessing they gave you a swab and a pill to take." he went on.

"Odds are you'll be fine." he told her further.

"That had to have been hard, though... to massively understate it."

"That... I didn't expect there to be a fucking banshee there, and certainly didn't expect to hear her scream." Jasmine admitted.

"Suffice to say, I didn't have much information, but I passed on what I could." She added with a light sigh.

"Here's hoping whatever they're doing can be dealt with before any serious issues happen within the city."

"If you just want to lay there and crash, I can make myself scarce."

"that works." As she spoke, she was carefully getting to her feet.

"I'm going to head up and do that. Feel free to join me. Edible things might be nice. I haven't eaten since about 4 in the afternoon."

"...hm..." he mumbled.

"Give me... 15-20 minutes." he said further, as he turned on their oven and looked through their freezer.

"Yeah, I'll have a decent selection with me." he chuckled.

"You in a wine mood?" he then asked her.

"After that. Harder. I felt like my head was going to shatter." Jasmine answered.

"Anyway, I'm heading up there." She then said. "I'll... see you soon." With that, she started to head off, up to where it was that their jacuzzi was. She trailed a hand on the wall as she moved, since she wasn't entirely stedy, but at the same time, she was.

She was silent as she was restocking the crystals she had, someone had come and abruptly bought a bunch unexpectedly.

"I wonder how long til the rest arrive." She muttered as she did so. She knew that there was a lot that she was waiting on

Marc watched her head off, and sighed quietly.

'Yeesh.' he thought.

'You've dodged a bullet, kid.' he 'told her' mentally. 'Odds are you were nowhere near the banshee when she screamed. Otherwise you'd be in a LOT worse shape...' he added.

As she was restocking, she heard the front bell ring as the door was opened... but when she looked, she saw it was slowly being opened, and a shy young male was sticking his head in, almost to see what was going inside.

He then noticed that she had noticed him, and almost jumped a little, but stepped fully inside, allowing the door to shut behind up.

"Oh, uh, hello." he greeted her quietly.

"A friend, of mine, Alyssa, told me she called and confirmed an order here, and she sent me to grab it for her, as she's unable to come get it, herself." he continued, pausing for a moment.

"...no rush, though." he then said.

"I can see you're busy, I... I can wait."

Levi nodded in response.

"Yeah." he confirmed.

"Oh." he then said, taking out his phone and looking at something on it.

"Right, here it is." he mumbled.

"She told me the confirmation code was B5ST786G22." he told her, pocketing the phone once more.

"Or... well, the order code, or whatever. The number that says I'm really here to pick it up for her." he finished, before looking around at everything she had, and seeing there was a decent selection, considering it was a bit of a smaller store.

Abigail nodded.

"Yeah, of course." she said before looking around.

"Anything catch your eye?" She asked, having noticed he was looking around the space. As she asked that, she made her way behind the counter and retrieved a box from below it. She set it down atop it.

"She paid online, but make sure everything is there before you take off, hey?" She suggested as she pushed the box toward where he was, slightly. It was safely on the counter, where he could come and grab it, or not.

Levi looked over at the box, before approaching and looking inside it, checking its contents.

"...mmm, yeah." he said. "Mmhmm, mmhmm..." he mumbled further, checking his phone again and referencing the list he'd been given. "...ahhhh, yep, all here." he confirmed.

"Oh, and I noticed you had some books on... well, Ancient Ones." he commented.

"I was just checking to see what they were." he added.

Really, he was wondering if they were books that had legit info on them, or if they were just stories that coincidentally referenced things that existed. It became a bit of a hobby of his; to see just how much 'legit' info there was out there of them.

So far... results were minimal.

"However, I have a copy of 'Tales from the Aether', and as far as I'm aware, that's one of the more legit, if not one of the most legit, resources on them out there." She answered.
