Hal was silent for a moment.

"Right." he said.

"Here goes." he told her, before she heard his fingers snap.

And a few seconds later, the two of them felt Ash's rune calm down immensely, and retreat back into him.

Ash just sighed in relief when that happened.

"Thank you... so much." Kiah said with a sigh.

"I'll make my way up there once I can to fill you in on what I know." She added.

"For now.. just... thank you." She then said with a light shake of her head.

"I need to recharge, I'll talk to you soon."

The call was then ended.

"Right then." Ash said.

"That was harrowing, to understate it." he said further.

"You gonna be ok?" he asked Kiah.

Once the call was ended, Kiah just set her phone on the floor next to her, pulled her knees up and just rests her chin atop them.

"I... think so." She answered honestly.

"I just need to rechrage. That took a lot ut of me." She commented before saking herhead slightly.

"What about you?" She asked after a moment or two, her voice curious, concerned.

"I'm fine." he told her.

"You might need to take some time off work, though." he suggested.

"Odds are you're feeling stressed and scared at the moment."

"Stressed, definitely." Kiah agreed after a moment as she carefully got to her feet.

"I need to go talk to Hal." She then said.

"thank you, Ash." she added.

"Just.... just thank you. I don't think I would have been able to quell it myself."

Ilias then stepped closer towards Kiah.

"There anything I can do for you?" he asked her.

"The rune didn't get to me or anything." he told her.

"I can help you get to Agent Sharp's office if you like." he then offered.

"I'm going to go to Sharp. And yes, I'll be all right."

"Sure." Ilias replied.

"I'll get right on that." he told her.

-some time later-

Sharp sighed as he sat at his desk, looking over a paper, with Sebastien sitting in front of the desk.

"Well, your education IS impressive." Sharp said.

"No real practical experience, though." he muttered. "And we DO already have a competent therapist on premises..." he went on.

Sebastien just sighed quietly. He had a feeling it would go this way, but he figured he would try anyway.

A few seconds later, they heard a slight commotion outside the door.

"Agent Sharp is with someone. I'm sorry, but you a not go in th-" his receptionist started to say before they heard her be shoved aside. More specifically, they heard her hit her desk.

And then the door opened to show a redhead who never did something like this. Her blue eyes were almost vibrating, she looked almost wild and her face was pals enough to be taken as dead at first.

"I'm sorry... Dr. Fyrane isnr in and.. I just..."she started, more to her voice than her words. Sebastien could see the tendrils on her, almost as if they were leeches, suckling the life out of her.

"I can't... I can't find any others and.. I..." She couldn't even seem to get the ords out, get whatever she was trying to say out.

"...Erica?" Sharp addressed her, sounding very concerned.

But before he could say anything more, or do anything... and before Erica could say or do anything, Sebastien stood up and approached her, placing his hands on her shoulders. As he did so, the 'leeches' seemed to stop what they were doing.

"Look into my eyes." he told her.

"Concentrate on them. Just on them." he said further.

"Tell me what happened."

As his hands were on her shoulders, Sebastien could literally feel her shaking, trembling violently.

"I ... I don't..." She started, and he could tell there was more to her. He could feel the markings beneath the material pulsing, writing.

She couldn't organize her thoughts enough to properly answer him.

b]"It's ok. Just look at me, and focus."[/b] He said, his voice kind.

It wasn't instant, and it wasn't hard that this wasn't going to last for long, but he did get an answer.

"I.... I woke in hell." She answered, her voice trembling, much as she was.

"Took too long to get out..."

'...geez...' Bast thought.

"All right." he said.

"Just keep looking at me." he told her, as he started to 'captivate' her, but only so she could focus.

As he did this, he used his demonic side to 'call off' the 'leeches' and have them come to him.

He also spoke to her, telling her what to do to regulate her breathing, and giving her scenes to picture in her mind.

Erica did as he was telling her to, knowing that she really couldn't argue with it at this point. When she'd arrived, she was too desperate for help, and by the end of it, it was more a case of his natural allure stopping her.

He could tell, though, she was still on edge. However, it was far subdued. He didn't know how she woke there, but it wasn't hard for Hal to guess, at least.

"... thank you.." She said quietly, relief in her voice, her face, once she could.

Bast just nodded as she said that, and finished removing the 'leeches' from her. Once he'd done so, he continued to talk to her, and sat her down gently in one of the chairs that were there.

Once he'd done so, he slowly 'released' her from his allure, and sat down as well, allowing her to fully come to her senses once more.

"You'll still need some time to recover." he told her.

"However, you're out of the woods now." he said.

"Just remember those scenery exercises if it starts to invade your thoughts again."

Erica was silent, nodding.

"I... sorry." She said after a few seconds, seeming to properly realise that she'd just interrupted something.

"I'll get out of here... I'm finding myself extremeyl drained anyway." She added as she went to get to her feet, finding that drained was a bit of an understatement. She did manage to get to her feet, but it wasn't quite the easiest thing to do. Once up, she was ok for the moment though.
