Again, Hal sighed. Heavily.

He then proceeded to tell her the story. Jordan showing up to see Bast, something happening... something massive... and how Hazel was now unresponsive, like how she had been previously, how both Bast and Zeke were still unconscious, having suffered damage to their bodies, but Bast more so.

And how Nate seemed to be in the middle of a massive mental breakdown.

"All we got out of him is that he saw things beyond the realm... whatever that might mean." he told her.

"And that 'she is injured'." he continued.

"I fear that means Jordan, but I have no idea where she is, as she managed to teleport directly out of Sebastien's office. Which is worrisome, in and of itself."

Hollie just sighed, heavily. He could tell it was on of concern though.

"What the hell have they gotten themselves caught up in, I wonder." She commented.

"I'll find Jordan though." She added. "My brother is rather close to her mother, and Bast's father." She told him before chuckling.

"We're practically family."

"Anyway, you... may want to look into that barrier you have. Anything getting in or out is generally not good for it. As for the other four.... I honestly don't know what to say about that. I can see if the Order can help at all, though, possibly?"

Hal smiled a little when Hollie said she'd find Jordan, and mentioned how they were practically family.

"Thank you." he said. "I appreciate it." he told her.

"And yes, the fact that she managed to escape directly is confusing and concerning." he then admitted. "She's not unwelcome, but my barriers should have prevented that from happening, especially given the extenuating circumstances." he reasoned.

"I don't blame her for what happened. I don't even KNOW what happened, admittedly." he then said.

"But I fear for her health and safety." he continued.

"As I said, Nathan has stated that 'she is hurt', and Hazel appears to be... well, she shows no signs of physical injury or trauma, but is in a state similar to when we first met her." he went on. "So I must consider the possibility that he's referring to Jordan. And the longer she remains away from people, the worse her condition may get."

Hollie nodded with a light sigh.

"I completely understand." She assured him as she pulled her phone out of the purse she had, and started to type up a text. It didn't take long to do, before sending it to the one she thought could help - her brother.

Vincent,

Seems there was an event at the Unit and Jordan has gone missing. She may be injured as well. Could you possibly scry for her and make sure she's ok?

A few seconds later, she received a response from him.

Of course. I shall do so immediately and tell you of the results. it read.

Hollie told Hal of this, and Hal nodded.

"Good." he said.

"I'd hate for her to not seek medical help if she needs it." he reasoned.

"Vincent's good. He's one of the best at scrying that I know." Hollie said. "He'll make sure that Jordan is all right, and possibly get some information about what the hell it is that happened."

Thank you, Vincent. If you don't get any information from her about what happened, I can give you that information later. For now, it's more important to find her." she replied to his text with before putting her phone back into her purse.

"May I?" she asked Hal, meeting his gaze. She knew he'd realise what she was asking his permission for.

Vincent read the text that she sent, before nodding to himself.

He was already gathering the materials needed, and knew that the sooner he did this, the better. He didn't need to respond to her until he had information regarding the scrying. So he set to work.

Meanwhile, Hal nodded in response.

"Of course." he told her.

"Feel free." he said with a soft smile.

"I wish for Nate's mental state to be all right, that he could recover, and give you some information about what happened. and what caused him to be rendered to such a state." Hollie said simply, plainly.

Jordan was sitting on the couch of the cabin, not entirely sure what it was that she was going to do . She knew she'd have to leave soon, but as it stood, she was hesitant. Everything that had happened.... it was still weighing her down. She didn't know if she was the cause, but she found herself wondering, and if she was... she didn't want to do that to anyone else.

"There's no way it was me... is there?" She wondered as she looked to her hands.

Hal nodded and snapped his fingers.

"Now we see how long it takes for him to full recover and be coherent." he said.

"These wishes can take a bit sometimes." he admitted.

As she stared at her injured hands, she heard a loud knocking on the door. But before she could panic or do anything, she heard Vincent's voice from the other side of it.

"Jordan, I just want to talk!" she heard.

"And I want to help if you're injured!" he said further.

"May I please come in!?" he asked, respecting her decision to want to be alone, and not trying to force his presence right now.

Jordan bite her lip lightly before sighing.

"Just mana in!" She called out to him, knowing that she couldn't hope to open the door for the moment. Her hands hurt, a lot, even though she wasn't properly feeling it due to ... se didn't even know why.

She had an idea why he was there though, if nothing else. And she wasn't about to complain, some help with her hands would be absolutely amazing.

Sure enough, a few seconds later, Vincent appeared several feet in front of her. He looked at her, sighed, and acquired a concerned look in his eyes.

"Hello, Jordan." he greeted her.

"How are you doing?" he asked, sitting down in a nearby chair.

"Odds are, very stressed, I would assume." he then said further.

"But... well, just how are you holding up?"

"Just... need some space." She answered honestly.

"A lot happened, I don't know why, or even really WHAT happened, and just... opted to come here to try and clear my head." She continued. "Y'know, process it all."

"... You're pure aligned, it's... never really agreed with me." Jordan commented before looking to her hands, that were delicately sitting in her lap.

"But if you can alleviate the pain in my hands, that'd be fantastic." She added, holding them up and out slightly.

"The redheaded girl... her mana did it."

"..." Vincent was silent as he heard that, before sighing.

"Sounds like Hazel." he said.

"But I think I'll be able to help." he told her, looking at her hands.

"...wow." he muttered.

"That is... really something." he commented.

"I still think I should be able to help you, though." he promised.

"Is it just your hands?" he asked.

Jordan nodded.

"Yeah... I ... I think so." She answered honestly.

"I don't know what happened, and I'm too scared to go back there, if I'm being honest." She added after a moment or two.

"All I know.. is that her mana just... just got out of control." As she spoke, Vincent took a seat on the coffee table in front of her, and held his hands above hers. As he did so, he felt something... odd... about her, about her mana.

As he started to 'activate' his mana, causing his hands to snow slightly in an attempt to cool the burns down a bit, he felt it get far stronger than expected, than intended, and it was quickly getting to the point that it was too much.

Jordan pulled her hands back from under his as a spear of ice nearly impaled her hand.

"Vincent!" She exclaimed, but didn't sound surprised. If anything, she sounded almost terrified.

But... not of him.

Vincent recoiled and cancelled his mana.

"Good heavens!" he shouted.

"Jordan, are you all right?" he asked her.

"That very nearly impaled you." he commented.

"..." he was then silent, and looked at his own hands, the mana still collected in them.

"It... it's the same thing with you..." She said as she backed away from Vincent.

"I ... I did it.. I caused it." She added, looking to her hands.

"Go away! I can't be near anyone!" She exclaimed, fear in her voice, her body.

".... " She didn't say anything, but he could tell.

She wanted to know what it was that he was thinking.
