"I don't know how much you have absorbed about the layout of this building."

"Technically I've been here for years." He commented.

"I know where I'm going." He added after a moment or two.

"So I'm going to go. Any chance you have anything for a gender swap though?" She then asked. "I really don't want to remain looking like a girl."

"Not sure what the point of you mentioning it would be. Regardless, I'll get my ass down there. MAYBE we will be lucky. Beats me." He then said before turning and heading for the door.

"Very well." he said.

"Go." he told him.

He then narrowed his eyes a little, before sighing when he had gone.

"...hmph." he muttered.

"Glad we don't have to deal with HIM a lot..."

Cameron made his way down to the lab and knocked, since the keycard he had didn't have access. There was no way to know who was there, but he was sure someone would be there at least.

When no one came and let him in, he just rolled his eyes, knocking again, this time louder.

"Oh come on." He growled, obviously unimpressed, but also knowing that he was overall just a very bitter soul.

Then again, time was of the essence, really. He had no way of knowing how much time Jordan had.

After a few moments of this, he heard Ilias' voice.

"Coming, COMING!" he called back.

A flustered and annoyed looking Ilias then showed up, saw who he thought was Alicja, and opened the door.

"...yes?" he asked.

"Is something wrong?' he asked further, now sounding concerned.

"Problems in the medical wing or something?"

Cameron looked him from his head to toe before shrugging.

"Sorry to interrupt your ... time... with Kiah." He said.

"But there are a few things that you need me for, and something I need from down here." He continued.

"You and her go finish up, but give me one of those gender change pill things, because the longer I look like this, the less I can take myself seriously."

Ilias' face turned red immediately when Cam said what he did, before he shook his head, and cleared his throat.

"....right." he said.

"Whatever." he muttered.

"I have NO idea what you're talking about, but gender change gelcaps are here." he said further, grabbing a container from a nearby cabinet and dumping out a light pink pill.

He then handed it to Cam, and sighed.

"Where are you going to be?" he asked.

Cam accepted the gelcap, popped it, before looking to Ilias.

"Whichever area is clear." He told him honestly.

"I'm sure I'll be easy to find. You and her certainly will be." He added with a bit of a shudder.

"Just go finish up. And be quick. I'd rather not be hearing every damned thing as I already know I will be able to." With that, he headed off, before the gender swap occurred, as well.

"...." Ilias was silent, before sighing and making his way back to where Kiah was.

"Kiah?" he said, stepping into the darkened room.

"Uhhhh.... got some things to say." he muttered.

The two of them then emerged a very short while later, with the two of them straightening out their hair and matting it down.

"...so yeah. It's weird." he said to her.

"Never seen this part of Alicja before. And asking for the pill was strange, too."

"Well, I..." She started before pausing for a moment.

".... there's no mana." She said after a few seconds. "I ... I can't sense any mana."

"..." Ilias was silent, before looking deeper into the dim lights that illuminated the department.

"That's... creepy." he said.

"Almost horror-cliché creepy."

"You said it was Alicja, right?" Kiah asked, to which Ilias nodded slowly.

"Then I think we're good." She assured him as she walked into the room where Cameron had gone, to find a long haired toothpick of a man writing something out on the whiteboard there.

"Spare me any concerns. Yes, I'm a hunter, no I'm not going to hurt you, yes I'm part of Alicja, no I'm not going to tell Sharp about what you two were doing, and Yes I am, in fact, male." he rifled off before either of them could say anything as he continued to write things down.

".... Right then. Who are you?" Kiah asked, her voice curious.

"Cameron Blake." was Cam's reply.

"Most people just call me Cam when they meet me though. Regardless, got a hunter turning into a nexus, and we need to try and at least slow it down so as to, y'know, preserve her life."

Ilias was stunned at the sudden barrage of information that had been fired at him in such a rapid rate, but he shook his head a little after the last statement, and cleared his throat slightly.

"...we attempt the impossible." he said.

"But then again, we're paid to do so." he reasoned, making his way to what Cam had been writing.

"Hmmm." he mumbled.

"Interesting start to this." he commented.

"But will these two work together?" he asked. "Won't we need a binding agent?"

"I have no concept of anything for the sciences." He added.

"... Somehow, I'm ot surprised. How old are you?" Kiah asked. "Your soul... it feels old."

"I died a few centuries ago." was all Cameron stated as an answer
