Sari paused a moment, thinking.

"How old is she?" She asked after a moment or two, her voice urious.

"34." was Zeke's answer.

"Being cursed, would be purely human." Sari continued, "Meaning... she probably has lived for longer than expected. However, I might be able to arrange some help for her."

"Don't worry, I'm reasonably certain that I can ensure she'll live at least a couple more decades." Sari assured Zeke with a smile.

"For now though, are you feeling better?" She asked.

"Or do you think you want to walk through the Garden?" She asked, knowing that he'd know exactly what garden she was referring to.

Sari just chuckled lightly.

"well, let's go then." She said simply before getting to her feet.

Sometime after Zeke returned home, Sari just sighed before making her way through the properly, lookin for one person in specific, probably the only being at all that could Zeke's friend. She approached the door to her room before pausing as she heard what she did. He was avoiding Zeke, and she knew that, but the fact that she could hear him playing his clarinet again... it just proved to her that the presence of the curse has in fact affected him, even if he doesn't know.

"Hey Gabriel?" She asked as she knocked on the door.

"Ezekiel's gone home."

"It's not about relating." Sari commented as she took a seat on one of the chairs he had by the door.

"You've been playing more and more over the past few years." She commented. "Why? I thought you'd abandoned playing." It wasn't unknown she enjoyed listening to him play, and Azrael play on her drumset.

"Any specific reason why you picked it up again?"

Sari just sighed, but it was a light, it was friendly.

"Gabriel... I think I know why." She told him honestly.

"The curse is on the surface again, and the carrier is a friend of Zeke's. He's worried about her - which is why he was here." She continued.

"You feel like stepping in to help her with it?"

"That, to my knowledge, is your arrangement with Ana." Sari commented before getting to her feet.

"Now! I'll leave you to your musings. Me? I'm going to go to 'work'." She added, smirking slightly.

"That vet clinic ain't gonna run itself."

Sari paused before chuckling.

"Because while some of us up here don't care about Dad's creatures," She started, referring to the one that had originally created them, that they largely all considered 'Dad', "I do. Emelie takes care of the humanoid creatures, and I take care of the others." She added.

"Hell, Raph's taken up botany."

Sari paused a moment before sighing.

"Sometimes." She answered.

"I miss who he was. Before he became vengeance incarnate for a bit, before Uriel was brought into the picture... and before he lost his balance." She added before meeting his gaze.

"Do you?"

"I don't think he's the cause though." Sari commented honestly.

"Dad was ... always getting more and more bitchy. Uriel was an inevitability. The problem though, was that vengeance was.... a far larger part of Dad than even he realised." she continued.

"so pulling that out of him, it destroyed the balance he had..... although that scale was pretty seriously tipped before then anyway."

Sari wasn't stupid. She noticed that her brother was starting to seem better, but she wasn't going to speak up on it.

"Oh! Right, do you want to know who you're looking for? Or do you want to just find her yourself?" She asked.

"Because I know who it is. Zeke and I went walking through the Garden, and he spilled... basically everything."
