Al froze when she said that.

"That... shouldn't be." he muttered further.

"It's just kinda eerie how quiet it is in here." She added as she looked around.
"Why? Hell should be loud?" They both heard from the left. When they looked, no one was there though.
"......." Al was silent as they saw nobody there.
"Right, let's pick up the pace." he said.
"This place should never be THIS quiet." he muttered.
"Just... just no." he said further, as he started to walk faster.
"C'mon, I'll see if I can't find us a pathway home." he then said to Aedan.

"Ahhh, but why do you want to leave here, Azazel?" A voice asked from behind them.
"I thought you liked home. Then again, you ran away, didn't you?" They asked. When they turned to look, they saw a tall, cloaked figure that was decidedly female.
Aedan just acquired a puzzled expression before looking to the one she was there now.
"Azzy... short for that?" she asked, her voice curious.
Al just brought his hand to his face, and slapped his palm over it, seeming to almost dig into his head with his nails.
"Grrrr....nnghfrgmrrgrm..." he growled unintelligibly for a few seconds.
"...yes." he said.
"Both 'Al' and 'Azzy' are short for that." he muttered to her.
"And.... technically speaking, I didn't... run away." he said further.
"I half ran away, and... half... was... kicked out..." he admitted quietly.
He then glared at the cloaked figure, and took a small step back.
"What do YOU want?" he asked her.
"Grrrr....nnghfrgmrrgrm..." he growled unintelligibly for a few seconds.

"You know I could make it real good for you... or torture the ever loving shit out of you as a thank you for returning." Aedan just looked to him as the figture spoke.
"Right, shall we just book it?" She asked, her voice curious. She wasn't scared, very little scared the zombie due to how much she'd witnessed in her life, but she was definitely uneasy. That much couldn't be denied.
Al just gulped quietly.
"Yeah." he replied.
"Let's." he said.
"GO!" he then shouted.
With that, the two of them turned heel, and started to bolt in the other direction.
"Crap, crap, crap, crap, crap..." Al repeated to himself.
"Why did we have to run into HER?" he asked rhetorically.
"Yeah." he replied.

Aedan followed him, but it didn't last long. Shortly after he asked his panicked question, Aedan's steps had faltered behind him. When he stopped to see why, he saw she was a few feet behind him, not moving. The figure, meanwhile, was right behind her.
"And you brought me a living plaything." They stated.
"You aren't quite as much of failure as I thought you were, Azazel."
"No!" Al responded.
"I didn't bring you a living plaything. I didn't bring you ANYthing!" he exclaimed.
"Just stay away from her!" he told her.
"Get your claws out of her!" he said further, before looking at Aedan.
"Aedan, come on, fight it!" he implored the zombie.

"Seems to be easy to grasp too... almost as she's nothing but a doll naturally." The figure said with a laugh, a laugh that he knew far too well by this point. He may not have heard anything from her for years... but it was something he'd never forget.
"You really brought me a prize, Azazel. Thank you."
Azazel cowered a bit when the woman laughed.
"Nngh..." he mumbled.
"...V... Vanessa, stop it!" he then said.
"She's not supposed to BE here!" he insisted.
"Let GO of her!" he yelled, before he quickly moved towards her, aiming to tackle her down.
"Nngh..." he mumbled.

Vanessa just laughed, again.
"Ah, then why is she here? I daresay that Ana has certainly decided that she should be here." She commented with a a mug air to her words. She glanced at Azazel before smirking as she just whispered something in Aedan's ear. The zombie didn't react, but Vanessa stepped away from her.
"What are you gonna do?" She asked as he neared
Azazel stopped his attack when Vanessa said what she said, and did what she did.
He growled slightly, and clenched his hands into fists.
"Damn it, this is hell!" he said.
"And I... I... am... a demon!" he said further.
"I... have the power to make you miserable!"

"Do you now?" Vanessa asked, her voice calm, curious.
"Do you really have the ability, the capability, the wherewithall.... the fuckin' spine... to do anything to me?" She asked him, her voice harsh.
"Do you really think you can man up and do something of that sort? Come on." She added before pausing.
"Besides. Do anything to me, she'll feel it tenfold." There was a cruel smirk to her voice.
"Anything bad, at least."
Azazel froze when she said that.
"...I..." he stammered.
"Can't." a male voice said from behind. A male that had matching skin tone to the female.
"You never could." he said further.
"You never really could bring yourself to act like a REAL demon."

Vanessa just laughed.
"Of course not." She stated.
"Why would he do anything that would be expected, hmm?" She then asked before shoving Aedan toward the newcomer.
"Chris, take her and .... test her limits." She stated with a laugh. "Make sure that since she's not a soul here, she can handle what I will do. Because I am not letting this treasure go."
The male, Chris, smirked.
"Of course." he replied.
"She's got a real nice body." he commented.
"This will be a pleas-" he started to say, before he noticed energy seeming to emit from Azazel.
"Get... your grubby... dirty... perverse hands... OFF OF HER!" the demon growled lowly.

Vanessa just laughed.
"Ohhh, have you suddenlyt developed a spine because of this toy?" She asked Azazel.
"Chris, take her. Go. I will deal with our exile." She added before looking to Aedan.
"Actually..." She trailed off with a light chuckle before approaching the zombie.
"What are you?" She asked, ignoring Azazel's energy for the moment. She wasn't worried about him, after all.
"Zombie." was Aedan's answer. There was a certain lack of ... much of anything to her voice, but that wasn't surprising. If anything, Vanessa's claws seemed to be deeper, more solidly in the zombie than Azazel had ever seen happen before.
Vanessa just laughed though.
"Ohhh, that's why you are so easy to control!" Vanessa exclaimed.
"You're nothing but a soulless shell! Fucking perfect! Chris, let's make sure she has plenty of memories of this place, and EVERYTHING that the realm has to offer." She added, a dark tone to her voice that promised trouble. She then looked to Azazel and grinned.
"And you.... I will admit, I'm not sure what to do with you. I never once thought that you'd come back to me."
