You’re completely right, and it’s frustrating to watch. Like I get all countries have their problems, but daaaaaamn there are some things I have seen that make me glad to be back in America...
Like when I first moved there, they warned us women that if we ever got attacked, we can’t fight back because we can get charged and deported... but then on tv there was a case where a girl was attacked (not a foreigner), and the attacker got off free because she didn’t fight him? Like hwat?
Also at my orientation at the embassy, the women’s sexual harassment seminar took 2 hours, the men’s took 30 minutes...
