Lex found it a bit weird how Lunet located her phone, but didn't say anything.

He just shrugged it off.

He then nodded when she said what she did.

"All right then, cool." he told her.

Sure enough, about 10 minutes later, there was a knock on the door as Lex was walking by, and he sighed.

"I'm here! I'll get it!" he called to Aimee and Lunet, before heading to the door, and opening it.

...and freezing in place when he saw who was there.

The woman who was there just chuckled lightly.

"I suppose Lunet didn't tell you who was coming to pick her up, huh." She commented.

"You going to let me in?" She asked, a light chuckle to her voice. She looked notably different than how she usually did. Her hair wasn't clipped back and she wasn't wearing what was essentially a suit like she would normally be wearing when 'on the clock'. Instead she was wearing denim jeans, a low cut v-neck top that revealed she had more cleavage than one would expect with a knee length coat. Her hair was tied back loosely, but nicely, and she didn't have her staff with her.

Lex continued to be stunned silent, before finally nodding.

"R-right." he stammered.

"C-come on in." he told her, stepping out of the way.

"I... are... y-you... that is..." he stammered and stuttered further, before shaking his head.

"Aimee! We have a visitor!" he called to his sister.

"And... and no. Lunet didn't tell us it would be YOU picking her up." he confirmed to her.

"I figured!" Aimee called as Lex led the woman, after a few more seconds of stunned silence, to the den.

"Hey Mom." Lunet greeted with a wave.

"Hey there Lunet." She greeted in return.

"Wait, Lady Remmington?" Aimee asked, her voice stunned.

"Oh please. It's Hollie. I'm not working at the moment." Hollie said with a shrug as she shoved her hands into her pockets.

"Oh, Lunet, how are the shades working for you?" She asked the youngest in the room.

"Love 'em. Thanks so much for mentioning the design idea to Leo." Lunet answered, beaming.

"It took some fine tuning, they they work just as well as visor... if not better, actually."

Lex was still silent, but managed to find his voice.

"Uh, right." he said.

"I... I had no idea your mother was the head of The Council." he told Lunet.

"Wow..." he mumbled further.

"This is... this is really quite something." he went on.

"Heh, didn't expect a visit from the head honcho, herself, today." he then admitted with a small laugh.

"We've been treating your daughter well, of course." he assured Hollie.

"I know." Hollie said.

"You two are absolute sweethearts. I don't see why it would go any other way." She said kindly, and with a soft smile.

"anyway, Lunet. You good to go?" She asked. The teen nodded as she made sure she had everything.

"Yep." She answered before looking in the direction of Lex.

"Honestly, I'll likely have a basic idea for this within the next twelve hours if you want this to be nice and quick. Gimme a call or text at some point tomorrow, and we can figure out the gameplan for the week I'm in Europe."

"I'll do that." he told her.

With that, the goodbyes were said, and Hollie and Lunet left.

"......" Lex was then silent again, before looking at his sister.

"THAT was nervewracking." he commented.

"I didn't expect her mother to be HOLLIE REMMINGTON." he admitted.

"No shit." She agreed with a shake of her head.

"That was most definitely unexpected. I really wish Lunet had given us a heads up."

"...wait..." he then mumbled.

"Wait, wait, hold on." he went on.

"If Lady Remmington is her MOTHER... who's her FATHER?" he asked.

"Is Lady Remmington involved with anyone?" he inquired further.

"I... admittedly, I'm not up to date on people's social status if it's known, but... yeah, wonder who." he continued.

"This... this is interesting." he added.

Also, something seemed to be bugging him further, but he couldn't put his finger on it.

"Hey, is there something else? You look like you've got something on your mind." She added.

"I'm not sure." he said.

"Something just felt... off?... about that whole thing." he told her.

"But for the life of me, I can't put my finger on it." he admitted.

"...of course, I'm still a bit... shall we say, starstruck... about her mother being Hollie Remmington." he then said. "Maybe it's just an extension of THAT." he reasoned.

"Also, should we pay Lunet in money?" he inquired, changing the subject.

"She made it clear she didn't care about payment, but we SHOULD repay her." he reasoned.

"...maybe some authentic souvenirs for her to take home with her..." he mumbled, wondering aloud at this point.

"Actually... it's a bit on the late side, isn't it?"

"it really is. She was here for longer than I think any of us expected." She commented after a moment or two.

A few days later, Lunet had handed her tablet over to Lex while they were chatting.

"Here, you can take a look at the app for the site." She then said. "You can check the actual site as well later." She followed up with.

"The web browser on there has the site loaded up on there, if you wanted to check it." She paused a moment.

"Now, keep in mind that this is a preliminary idea." She continued. "It's something that can and will be edited and refined if you like."

"All right." he said.

He then proceeded to check it over, examining the app, and how it worked with the website.

And he was impressed.

"Oh, wow." he said.

"This is impressive." he told her.

"The app complements the site beautifully, and for a preliminary, it's amazing." he continued.

"...just one thing, though." he then muttered.

"Can this button be moved over to here?" he asked. "And this option be taken from this submenu and put at its own thing?" he inquired. "I think it might be important enough to warrant it being upfront." he continued, showing her what he was talking about on the tablet.

Lunet looked at it before pausing and flicking the goggle like shades she had on.

"Yeah, I don't see why not." She then said.

"Lemme see." After he'd handed it back to her, she started to type and fiddle with something on there. It took all of ten minutes before she handed it back.

"Ah, much!" Lex responded.

They continued to discuss minor tweaks and changes for about another half hour, and Lex had one more thing he wanted to see tried.

"Can this be moved here, and these two things switched?" he inquired.

"Just to see how it looks, aesthetically?" he reasoned.

Before she answered, Lunet seemed to flick her goggle-shades again, which confused him.

'...that just something she does...?' he wondered.

However, when Lunet flicked her eyewear that time... she felt a definite electrical shock in her head.

With a cry, she tore the eye wear off and tossed them onto the table. When Lex took a look, he could see what looked like a wire on the inside of the band, and it looked like the inside of the actual goggle part was sparking a bit.

"Ow, fuck that hurt." She muttered before sighing and digging her phone out of her pocket. She activated the voice option, since it was easy as could be without anything on, and got the phone ringing for someone named 'Leo'. She didn't bother with the bluetooth this time as it needed to be connected, and she wasn't able to do that for the moment. So she just tossd the phone lightly onto the coffee table and put it on speaker.

"Hold on a sec, Lex." She said before the phone was answered.

"Yo, Leo. Goggles are literally shocking me." She stated simply.

"Any chance you can come help? They're a hardware issue, not software."
