Leo just pinched the bridge of his nose when she said that.

"Oi." he mumbled.

"Yep, she's insisting on payment for this as well." Lex told him.

"Pardon me whilst I not be surprised." Leo responded.

"ANYWAY." he then said, a bit more loudly than usual.

"If there's nothing else, I should be going." he told them.

"Lemme know if any more issues crop up." he said to Lunet.

Lunet nodded.

"Of course. Thanks again, Leo." She said with a smile before giving him a quick hug before he left. Once he was gone, she turned back to Lex.

"all right... let's iron out this thing so that we can be as close to done, if not done, but the time that I leave in a couple days."

Lex nodded in response.

"Right." he said.

By the end of that session, Lex was quite pleased with what they had.

"...you know what?" he said.

"I think... that we're done." he told her.

"Everything looks good, everything's accessible, the app seems to be perfect..." he listed off.

"I mean, all I can think now is if you want to do minor tweaks to the actual underlying coding and stuff."

"I'll take a look over it over the next couple days and make sure you have your admin account." Lunet told him honestly.

"Make sure there are no glitches, bugs, or issues in the code." She continued.

"Oh, and I'll send you the apk tonight through email for you to install to your phone. Let me know if there are any compatibility issues." She paused a moment before chuckling.

"Also, I'll maintain tech support for the coding, as well. If anything bugs out, just lemme know."

"But I get the feeling you won't listen to that." She added before sighing lightly.

"I dunno, and don't care. I've never tried pricing my coding work, as it's a hobby, not a job."

"I'll drive you around, and treat you to a day on the town." he went on.

Lunet was silent for a few seconds as she debated what he'd said.

"Know waht? Sure. That works." She said with a smile and a nod.

"Totally works." She added with a laugh.

"I'm leaving on Saturday, so how about on Thursday, if you don't have anything going on?" She asked

Lunet just laughed.

"Perfect solution then!" She stated with a nod.

"I'll let you know specifics and all that jazz when I know it." She then said.

"For now, I think I'm going to head out and spend some time with Mum for now.... Since I'm done what I needed to do, mostly." She added with a laugh.

Lex nodded in response.

"All right." he replied.

"Talk to you later." he said.

Sure enough, the day came, and the two of them made a day of it. Spent most of the time driving around and seeing the sights, and Lex bought Lunet a few pricey (on his insistence) souvenirs. They even were out long enough that they had both lunch AND dinner, before returning home.

When they did, and went inside, Lex paused for a moment.

"Hmmm." he mumbled.

"A thought occurs." he said.

"You know what I do, but you've never actually SEEN what I can do." he commented.

"Want to?" he asked.

"Do you want to watch me do a summoning?"

Lunet paused a moment before shrugging.

"I will admit, I'm curious." She told him. "But I ... admittedly know very little about necromancy." She added.

"I never truly brought it up because for all I know, it's a danger to me." She said with a light laugh.

"But yeah, I'm interested. What would I need to do?" She asked. "Anything?"

"Just tell me the name of who you wish to summon." he told her.

"Oh, as well as whatever mana they may or may not have, and their name." he added.

"I... specialise in letting people talk to those that are... well... in Hell." he said.

"Sometimes they need something confirmed, or they need closure, or whatever." he went on.

"It's... not the most pleasant of services, but it genuinely helps." he continued.

"If you can't think of anyone, that's fine. I'm just curious."

". . . she died and not pleasantly. Then again, I'm... not entirely sure she could be summoned anyway. Better to not try." She then said after another second or two.

"......hm." Lex muttered.

"I see..." he said, going silent and thinking for a moment.

He then seemed to get an idea, and snapped his fingers.

"Ah!" he exclaimed.

"I have an idea!" he said.

"I have a demon friend that I can summon." he told her.

"Seriously. He's a cool guy, and a good guy, too." he explained.

"Yeah, he... doesn't really fit in with the rest of the denizens of hell." he then admitted with a small laugh.

"But yeah, I'm game for that." She continued as she took a seat against the wall.

He then drew the rune and activated it.

"Just need to see if he answers." he said.

"He might be too busy to." he said further.

"He DOES lead a bit of a busy life, and he's free to ignore this kind of summon." he went on.

"We'll give it about a minute or so."

Lunet nodded, and they sat there and waited.

And waited.

It was about three minutes later, when he was about to mark the rune to cancel it, when it pulsed. Seemed the call was being answered, just took a b it.

"Ah, here he comes." Lex said with a light smile before waiting.

The one that formed was not who he had expected though. First and foremost, it was a woman.

She had long black hair, so deep a black that it looked to be stronger than vanta black, that reached her knees. Her face was pale, but uneven. She seemed to have black spots all over the place, as if it was spreading. Her eyes were a deep crimson red that seemed to have a metallic glow behind them.

And she didn't look good. She had an arm across her torso, and was covered in what looked to be a thick deep violet liquid.

"Tch. Thanks for the ticket out." She stated, her voice cold, almost sharp.

"You're not..." he said, trailing off a bit.

"You're... wait..." he mumbled further.

"Lunet, stay back. As far as you can." he told Lunet.

"Who ARE you?" he asked the woman.

"And what in heaven and hell's name HAPPENED to you??" he inquired further.

The figure brushed some of her super black hair out of her face, briefly revealing the small lumps that were likely horns that were above her ears, and hidden in her hair.

"Neither are important to those like you." She stated, not sounding any different than she had before as Lunet stayed where she was, trying to watch the newcomer. Sadly, it seemed that her presence was causing her eyewear to glitch, and she had no idea why.

"Feel like letting me out of this rune?" She asked as she looked to the rune around her feet. She knew it was binding her to her place, and that there were an extremely low number of summons that could break out of runes themselves.

Lex was good though. he was able to pick up on little things from those he summoned. She appeared calm, collected, not an immediate thread, but he noticed a couple of twitches that could easily be extremely well suppressed winces - albeit not perfectly suppressed.
