"I'll be right there." he told her.

"Where are you?" he asked.

"Lex and Aimee's home." Lunet replied.

"Be there in a couple minutes." Leo assured her, before the convo was ended.

"...Lunet...?" Lex addressed her.

"Are you all right?" he asked her, before looking at what she had torn off and tossed onto the table.

"...a wire? What is that for?" he inquired.

"And... it's sparking? What's going on here?"

"Thanks Leo." Lunet said before the call was ended. Once that was done she sighed lightly.

"That thing decided it wanted to attack me." was her answer to Lex.

"In all seriousness, I don't know what happened. They've been fine for weeks." She continued. "And I doubt it's a case of something here in the air or the wifi or whatever beign different."

"Sadly, that thing decided to attack and now I have a headache." She paused, not entirely sure what it was that he was getting at.

"And the wire is because I need them to see."

"...." he was then silent, before snapping his fingers.

"Ah, your sight is bad! Of course!" he said.

"...no, wait... that doesn't explain the wire..." he mumbled.

"Just... how bad IS your eyesight?" he asked her.

"Do you need some weird special prescription or something that involves electronics?"

Lunet just laughed.

"Yeah... my eyesight is bad." She agreed with a nod before looking in his direction, revealing her pure white eyes.

"And that's ... putting it lightly." She admitted with a chuckle.

"Hi. Name's Lunet. I was born blind."

"B... blind?" he stammered.

"As in... completely, 100%?" he inquired.

"Yup." Lunet confirmed.

"I... but... that... how..." Lex then stammered, before shaking his head.

"How do those...?" he mumbled, trailing off some.

"Wait. Hold on a second." he said.

"Your eyewear actually GIVES you sight?"

Lunet nodded.

"Yup." she answered with a laugh before pausing.

"C'mere." She said simply. When he had, she motioned for him to check behind one of her ears, where there was a connection.

"Had surgery ehhh.... three? years ago." She continued. "It was shortly after I met Leo for the first time, actually."

"Anyway. It was that surgery that basically connected some wires and the like to my optic nerves." She explained in a very simplistic way (mostly because she didn't know all the details), and those wires can be connected to almost any webcam with some editing. I mean, I don' thave a USB port in my head, they gotta have a specific attachment, but... yeah."[/b]

"That is... amazing." he said.

"And... wait, it was Leo that-" he started to ask, before the doorbell rang.

"...right." he mumbled.

"One second." he said, getting up and leaving her for a moment... and when he returned, Leo was in tow.

"So they're LITERALLY shocking you." Leo said to Lunet/

"All right, let's get these fixed up..." he muttered, grabbing them and taking a look.

"Oh geez, wow..." he said quietly.

"I'll need to take them apart briefly and examine them." he said.

He then made his way to another table, and started to give it the once-over.

As he did, Lex just sighed quietly.

"So... this is an inconvenience." he said.

"Are you all right?" he inquired to Lunet.

"You said that gave you a headache? You want something for it?"

"I'll go get something for your headache." he told her, before getting up and leaving to do so.

Leo then sighed.

"I apologise for this." he said to Lunet.

"I didn't think something like this could happen. This... just... wow." he mumbled.

"Maybe something happened on the flight to do this..." he went on.

"Maybe elevations that high warped something..."

"I'm... honestly, not entirely sure." She admitted.

"I wish I knew, sadly, Dad ain't around to help with that." She added with a light laugh.

"Thank you." Lunet said, relief in her voice as he placed the items in her hands. ONce he'd stepped back she took 'em quick and carefully set the glass down on the coffee table again.

"Anyway. While Leo's doing his thing, Lex, is there anything else you think you want me to edit or whatever regarding the site and or app.?" She asked, her voice curious. She wasn't even realising that he probably would assume that she couldn't do anything, considering the fact that she's blind.

Lunet paused before laughing.

"I'm better when I can see, but I am still quite effective when I can't." She told him before grabbing her tablet and handing it to Lex.

"Hold this for a moment." She said, when he agreed and told her that he was, she laid her hand just above it. As she did so, he could literally feel her mana connecting with it.

"Passive mana. Works with tech - software specifically."

"Lunet, when you're ready, I believe I've fixed them.' he announced.

He then made his way over towards her, and put the device in her hand.

"Here." he said.

"They should work perfectly again." he told her.

"That being said, after your flight back, I want to check them again." he then said. "See if the same thing starts to happen once more. See if the flight had anything to do with it." he went on.

"But regardless, they should work perfectly once more." he assured her.

"Let me know if there's any abnormalities." he added.

Lunet nodded before connecting the device to her head. After powering it on, she just grinned.

"Work perfectly, again." She told Leo honestly.

"Thank you so much." She added. "I'll wire you some money as a thank you for this once I'm back at Mom's."
