Ash was almost shocked when he heard that.

"Ah, what?" he asked.

"Climb ON?" he asked further.

He then paused for a moment, before thinking about it.

"Um... okay..." he mumbled, before climbing onto the back of the large feline.

"Okay, this is... kinda cool." he admitted.

"Yeah." Ash responded.

"Seems it's nothing to really worry about." he said.

"Said that this happens every so often, and people with... er... high emotions... are targets." he muttered.

"So... uh... yeah." he mumbled.

"You can guess what was happening with me and Ashleigh." he told her.

"...and the whole house knows about what YOU two were doing." he added, rolling his eyes.

"He'll be able to find us." Ash replied.

"The house is big, but... not huge." he told her.

"Besides, Ashleigh's making up food." he went on.

"...I would be, but... uh... well..." he then stammered, before sighing.

"I... can't." he admitted.

"For... obvious reasons." he sighed.

Ash froze for a moment, and snapped a glare at her.

"Hey!" he exclaimed.

"Watch it!" he said to her.

"YOU'RE nothing more than a kitten now!" he told her.

"And mice can escape kittens easily!" he boasted, before pausing.

"Wait..." he muttered.

"...that... that sounded better in my head..." he admitted quietly.

Kitt followed, but kept a speed where she was right behind Casey, with Ash holding on.

"...ok, yeah, this is pretty fun." Ash admitted, as they made their way downstairs.

"Ashleigh!" he called out.

"Pretty sure you felt that surge of mana before!" he went on.

"And I'm pretty sure you know WHY you felt it!" he continued.

"But we're here to pretty much confirm it." he then added with a small sigh, shaking his head slightly.

Before anyone else could say anything, Lindsay stepped into the room.

"Seems the got moved from last time. Maybe." he said.

"Regardless, found them." he said further, going to Ash and handing them to him.

"Good." Ash responded, putting them on.

"Now I don't feel like a ticking time bomb." he mumbled.

"SO much better." he sighed, before climbing down off of Kitt... who promptly started to paw at him.

"...it's because of my mouse genes, isn't it." Ash said bluntly.

Ash just shook his head.

"Hmph." he grunted.

Lindsay just laughed as well.

"Sure thing." he said. "Let's get some food made." he agreed, as they set to work.

Ash, meanwhile, thought for a moment.

"I'll be right back." he told them.

"I need to check on something." he said. He then concentrated for a moment, and disappeared in a burst of black flames... appearing on the table that was right next to him.

"....right. Need to concentrate harder." he mumbled. "Anyway, I'm going to concentrate harder and check in at the dradin's place." he informed them, concentrating even harder, and then disappearing once more... and this time appearing right beside a townhouse he was familiar with.

"Cool." he said, making his way to the front door and pressing the doorbell button.

Ash was a bit surprised at the vines, but sighed and kept his composure.

"Well... it's complicated." he said.

"Rogue magic is the reason for my current state." he told her.

"Came HERE to see if anyone else is affected." he continued.

"...also to come and get Kelly, bring her home." he then added.

"Anything strange been happening here?" he asked her.

'I'm fine, considering.' Andrew responded.

'Urgh...' Luke answered groggily. 'I'm fine. Dunno where Kelly is.' he admitted.

'She's in the bedroom with me.' Andrew told them.

'...I get the feeling I know why Ash is asking, though.' he then added, before wincing slightly.

"Careful." he said to Kelly.

"That leg's particularly tender."

Andrew just laughed.

"It's okay." he said.

"And you say 'brutal', I say 'passionate'." he continued.

"Thankfully, at this point in my life, same thing." he chuckled.

'Yep. She is.' he then sent mentally.

'WHAT!?' Luke exclaimed in their mental conference call.

'A KID!?' he asked further.
