I'm making an avi in preparation of Dia de Muertos tomorrow and it's a liiiittle hard considering there's not much face-paint type stuff that layers together >w>

@Wildfire: She does have connections - and knowledge, though I have no idea if her interests are aligned with mine. I'm more of a secular witch - she's Wiccan, I'm pretty sure. I also don't want her to feel cornered by it, because while she's not exactly subtle to someone like me, maybe she wants to keep it more of a secret...?

@Wildfire: Hmm, it's possible but requires talking to my aunt about it. She doesn't really know I'm a witch (technically, I don't "practice" much). I do think she has a good start, though I wonder if her friends are actually interested in it.. maybe I can ask her about the process behind her ritual?

It's common for banishing negativity out of your life, but I kind of expected for there to be uh, actual witches besides my aunt and myself (she doesn't know I am, though, so...). It was a bit awkward seeing her explain it so poorly. I think it was nice though, she wanted to help out her friends - they didn't seem to be doing well.

I had a bit of fun. This was very much a Samhain ritual and not a very complex one at that - I guess my expectations were a biiit high considering I dabble in that stuff off and on. The ritual consisted of writing down things you want to let go off, ripping up the paper, and tossing it into a fire.

@Wildfire: I can talk to my alters sometimes! Depends on how dissociated I am.
My night was wild and also not at the same time. Maybe it was the coffee he had. lol

@Wildfire: Lack of available costumes. I went as a skeleton! The makeup was fun, but I spent.. 15 minutes washing it off lol.
Also, my alter had coffee at 8pm..... rip my sleep LOL
