@Trixie Kay: Luckily I am child free. So I can actually relax. Lol though I do need to do laundry, so I have a clean uniform for the week.

@Trixie Kay: That's fair. I'm just enjoying a day off. Get my energy ready for last minute gift shoppers.

Goooooooood morning Voltra how is everyone today.

Yep. Thankfully I have Christmas Eve off.

@Wildfire: Yeah it's fine. Lol Luckily it was a very small bit.

Just within my Hell week. Three of them was the sale, which got ridiculously busy. Then I had a guy who was harassing a coworker/friend to the point I called the police. Got the guy banned from our store. He kept proclaiming his love for my friend, so I bought her a knife and pepper spray. Then the next day the register decides to crap out. Luckily it was just the network choosing the worst possible moment to update. It went down in the middle of a transaction and the customer was getting pissy about it. The fifth day I'm still very sick (I've had a severe cold through all of the Hell week). And I had to deal with a gaylord full of garbage. The sixth day was fine because my manager was there. The seventh day was by far the worst. I had to learn how to do a refund on a system that is not designed to do that. Because Goodwill's don't do refunds. I had to call my manager and he didn't know how. I called our tech support who didn't know how and was going to call a separate tech support. I figure it out with out either tech supports help. Call my area manager, and I apparently had a few more steps to go. Finally get the guy his refund, and it was just Hell that entire time.

Lol after all of that. Friends and I did a virtual escape room that was set up around town. Like Pokemon Go but an Alice in Wonderland escape room. It was a lot of fun.

Then very recently I got glass in my eye.

@Wildfire: Such an interesting month.

It's been going. Lol my first week as Lead was a Hell week. 7 days of being sick, three days of a Black Friday sale, and having to call the police.

Been alright, got promoted at work.

Good morning

Howdy howdy

I am groggy from just waking up.

Not really unless we let go of coworker 2. Because that would leave just me as the only trained person who can do anything.

Well I heard some stuff at work, that I cannot talk about to my best friend because she also works at the same place I do. And it needs purging. Ugh.
One of my coworkers is going to be let go soon, and another HR is getting involved with that. First one has been making a lot of mistakes due to physical and mental limitations, and unfortunately his job is just too demanding and vaguely dangerous for us to keep in that position. If he worked at one of the bigger donation centers with multiple attendants he would do better. But in our tiny donation center, it's only one attendant to take care of donors and do other stuff. Saturday he accidentally set the alarm to the store while the store was still open. My friend that I can't talk to, told me that they had to be walked through disarming it via phone call with the manager. Then the police showed up. The second one is the information cannot share, and should not have. While I was reporting some of the problems over our weekend with the manager out of town, I added that Coworker 2 may need to be reminded that she doesn't have to kill herself for our store. But they've already had the conversation a few times. I walked in on her sobbing from the pain in her back. She threw it out years ago, and it has been causing massive problems lately. We aren't sure she can still physically do her job anymore.

I got a statue of Adam West as Batman.
