@Unicorn: I respect what the show is trying to do. Putting the LGBTQ+ folks out in force, honestly talking about abusive relationships, making the characters all different shapes and sizes and not acting like skinny is the only way to be. I respect all of that, I honestly and truly do. But the show is disjointed, Steven is annoying as fuck and never learns anything. The story so far is a mess and doesn't actually make any kind of logical sense when you stop and think about it for more than the show's average run time. I'm only in season two, maybe plot becomes more relevant later on. As of right now it's more interested in telling dumbass child friendly Family Guy jokes.

There is no version of that bitch, that I can tolerate. She sucks in the 90's dubbed and subbed, she sucks in the manga, she sucks in Crystal, she just plain old sucks.

And yes Big Bang Theory sucks, and now there's a spin off with Sheldon as a child.

@Unicorn: Lol so now I'm basically hate watching Steven Universe, though I was promised that the annoying bits get worked out the further into the series I got.

@Unicorn: Lol I can get this worked up over many many story media. Books, movies, comics, show, ect ect. There are just some stories out there that annoy me. And I hate watch them. Did that with Big Bang Theory, lol my ex started watching the show with me totally confused about why I would critique the hell out of it. He didn't seem to understand that I hate watched it.

Because she's a spoiled entitled little shit, that fucks shit up all the damn time.

Blargh she got reduced to just being a PSA bunny (lol). Taking on Captain Planet level lessons into each episode. But she will never be more annoying than that little incesty Chibi Usa bitch. So. Much. Hate. I hate that character more than Trekkies hate Wesley or old farts hating on Scrappy Doo.

There's a reason I don't watch much anime anymore.

It wouldn't annoy me so bad, if they focused more on plot. But no, we get endless episodes that you can literally skip and lose nothing.
At least Usagi has the benefit of being smarter in the manga. A lot of what made her annoying popped up in the cartoon adaptations. Especially the original series that got suuuuuuuuuuuper rewritten by us dumbass Americans. Yes Steven Universe is a pioneer of inclusiveness in television, but that doesn't a good story make.
Also his VA is the worst part. His voice is equal to that voice used by Adam Sandler in Eight Crazy Nights.

I got that. But he's so annoyingly in your face every episode. Someone argued that he gets a pass for being annoying because he's a kid, but the dipshit is fourteen. That's too old for him to keep making the same damn mistakes over and over again without learning from them.

@Unicorn: Because I'm bored and decided to give a chance to shows that I've been avoiding. Giving Steven Universe a fair chance, seeing if it lives up to the hype. So far it really doesn't, I want to punch Steven in basically every episode.

Nope, just pasta with Avengers shapes.

Trying to watch Steven Universe without it annoying the piss out of me. But yay we finally have plot, this show is almost nothing but filler.

Well and yard sales lol.
Mmm pasta would be yummy. I've got some Avengers pasta that I need to do something with.
