Hurricane season isn't even over yet, doesn't get considered over until November.
My brother took it worse than the rest of us. Lol I had just ordered three new books when Irma hit.

We still lost power for about a day and a half, which is so much better than what happened to other folks. Now we're really glad that Nate isn't going to be hitting much of Florida.

Oh god I wish storms and triple digits was rare here. But nah. This year has been absolutely the worst for heat and storms. May and June was non-stop hot as fuck rain. Then came the jackass hurricanes, thankfully I wasn't in the path for full strength. Irma was barely a tropical storm by the time she made it here.

Oh delightful Florida. We average about 90something-100something, and don't forget that awful humidity. It's like boiling alive whenever you go outside. Thankfully it is starting to cool down now that we're getting into October, it won't truly 'cool' until the end of this month. But it's a welcome change especially for my dogs.

Thankfully it's technically 87 today, but once you add in the humidity it's actually 97. Which is pretty mild for the summer we've been having. And yay, hurricane Nate's rain is going to be here soon.

We've finally been getting some of those.
